We got 6 points against them and scored 8 goals. By that logic should Laws be given the job?

Don't worry, if you have the players that can provide Francis with the right service you'll have nothing to worry about.

Looks like you might finally be signing Tudgay now, as Laws is the only person who still rates him.

He's just came into 1/3 with Skybet now and O'Driscoll out to 2/1.

To be honest he's one of only 4 or 5 players I'd want us to keep at the moment.

Whey! It could actually be better in the short term to appoint Brian Laws for you guys. It would have taken O'Driscoll a while to get you playing how he wants and you wouldn't have the best results, you could have ended up relegated. I reckon with Laws you could have a better chance of survival.

The Burnley manager position betting has now vanished off SkyBet. Looks like it is Mr Laws. WTF are you doing Burnley?

I checked about 15 mins before it went, and Laws was 1/8 and SOD was suspended.

You won't hear a bad word said about Brian Laws from us Forest fans.

    ****ing legend

    Good luck to him.

    A bad omen though...

Two ex Forest players were managing in the Premiership at the start of this season. Both were sacked and left their clubs in the bottom three.

Both were also Forest managers aswell, although Laws obviously wasn't.

Not happy one bit if Laws as it sounds gets the job. Sacked by Sheff Wed so our board go for the cheap option most Burnley fans against him getting the job aswell but the board dont take that into consideration . Bad choice and as far as me buying another season ticket goes next season they cant stick that one right up their arses. Only one place Laws is taking us and thats backwards even when we drop into the championship.

    PATHETIC BY THE BURNLEY BOARD

First Coyle leaving and now appointing this joker, what a week it’s been, from living the dream to relegation certainties!

1/33 the odds you can get on him so yes i'd imagine it being him.

Still as gutted and annoyed as last night
More pissed off with the board for taking a step forward and then 100 back by taking this clown on as manager.

Championship manager at very best. Some of his tactics are mind-boggoling. He enjoys playing players out of position. For example the left-back Gray playing Right Midfield all season, with JJ the right midfielder on the left. Not impressed with his signings either. Clarke and Jeffers are the worst things I've ever seen. Unless against your of course! Wish him the best of luck, really nice man. Just can't see him being succesful with you I'm afraid.

He's not the terrible manager so many are making him out to be. Most of the playing players out of position comments are down to having spare players in particular areas and not enough in others.

His signings have been overly impressive. Some of his substitutions are debatable. But I still think you have a decent chance of survival under him. The style of football he tries to get the team playing isn't really that bad. He's against the long ball down the middle.

Good luck to Laws and Burnley.
