No true they probably wouldn’t in reality .

The moans only really started up when the form dipped .

Our fans have probably become as fussy and reactive as the Pozzos themselves.

Loathe to be one of those supporters not giving their manager time, I can’t remember the last time I called for an Argyle manager to be sacked but…

Foster has got to go. Tonight.

Personally I don't think it'll be too long till Schumacher is back available. Probably not this season, it's too late now for a panic sacking and there's realistically very little that a new manager could do at this stage. But things aren't going well for him and he looks a little lost and out of his depth in all honesty, I think the situation is a bit too big for him. I can definitely see him leaving at the end of the season, relegation or not.

Imagining a scenario where we both stay up, Schumacher comes back to us in the summer and we all carry on as if the last four months just didn’t happen

I’d be more than happy for David Wagner to be our manager if he’s leaving Norwich in the summer.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. It pretty much just comes down to how our new SD wants to build the squad style/dna over the next few seasons. Wagner's system is pretty unique at this level and does require a fairly specific type of player hence why I could see him leaving even if he does make the playoffs.

I've pretty much flip flapped on my opinion of Wagner over the last few weeks. The results and performances obviously help but he's actually shown a lot of fight and defiance when things have absolutely been against him. I like that he's seemingly been able to use his frustration with the fanbase as fuel to turn things around and not just to set things on fire like Deano. Barring a disastrous end to the season I'm hoping we back that kamikaze 3-1-6 Wagner wants to play in the transfer market fully.

Yeah I think your fans were pretty harsh in their assessment of him early doors to be honest, good manager at this level as his time at Huddersfield proved and I agree with what you say on his style, it’s fairly unique and requires the right type of player but if you back him with who he wants I think he’ll be a success with you.

I don't know if it was harsh or not really. I can't see too many fanbases being okay with 6 wins in 26, especially considering the fact we have parachute payments and one of the strongest squads in the division. I can't imagine we were too far away from pulling the trigger back in November that's for sure.

Wouldn't surprise me if it ends up like Nathan Jones who left us after a disaster spell and went back to Luton and carried on the good work he'd been doing there previously and moved them forward again. Could quite easily see him going at the end of the season and ending up back with you. With both Schumacher and your club a good few quid richer at our expense. We really need to register ourselves as a charity because we're the most generous organisation out there.

Gary Rowett back to Birmingham in some sort of interim role?

They started ok under Mowbray but since he got unwell rather lost their way although were unlucky against us .

Wish Rowett well, very grateful we've got Birmingham out of the way as that would have had 0-1 written all over it.

Shame it’s come a week or two too late as we'll probably just miss the playoffs. Great news though.

Mixed feelings, I feel he’d get enough out of this squad to keep us up, but think it would basically confirm TM won’t be returning and his health issue is worse than first feared. I know the story says interim etc but I just don’t see it, parachute Rowett in above all of Mowbray’s coaching staff then move him on once he returns? .. Nah just don’t see it.

Above all else, let’s hope Tony Mowbray makes a full recovery whatever happens with us, some things are bigger than football.

Oh and 6 managers in a season? Surely that puts us above Watford in the most managers in a season table?

Great appointment. As Brum fans will already know, he brings stability and results. Could lay the foundation for upward mobility, which is something Brum haven’t had for a good decade now

He's got eight games to weave his magic, starting with the toughie at QPR: Under Mowbray I think we'd have won at least three of those games, Rowett will have to weave quickly to match that.

    Friday 29 March: QPR (a)
    Monday 1 April: Preston (h)
    Saturday 6 April: Leicester (a)
Wednesday 10 April: Cardiff City (h)
Saturday 13 April: Coventry City (h)
Saturday 20 April: Rotherham United (a)
Saturday 27 April: Huddersfield Town (a)
Saturday 4 May: Norwich City (h)

I'm hearing that Mowbray will be back for pre season and that GR will hold the fort until his return. Venus presumably has gone back to his planet where he can stay as far as I'm concerned..

I just don’t see it personally Panj, I know that’s what the official party line is, I personally think we’ll see Mowbray retire this summer, but they’ll hold off on the announcement as to not affect morale around the place. Whoever is at the helm has a huge job on their hands.

If this was us we probably would have been criticised.

Of course the one season we had 4 managers we ended up getting promoted!
