    We are a shambles atm.

Can’t wait for return of j to tell us saints fans that we are wrong and shouldn’t be criticising this shit.

We've also been pretty awful this half. Martin out.

I expect Leeds to coast it to 2nd now, maybe even leapfrog Leicester at the death. Both squads are way too good.

Hopefully Blackburn can hold out or nick a winner. Would be a good day for us if so. Bit of a gap forming below Coventry.

Runny shite but it's a game we were losing a few months back so I'm sure we'll 'take the away point'. Martin out.

Well we've pressed the self destruct button and the manager looks like he has no answers. We've gone back to our tactics early on in the season. Holiday for our players until the play offs in May.

That’s a dire result for Southampton. That should have been one of their bankers.

Ipswich not going away though. Leicester are actually being dragged back into a fight for automatics if this continues.

Too bad Stoke won't get to enjoy a Potteries derby next season.

Fair play Ian Foster. He’s copped huge amounts of stick this week but that was an unbelievable performance.

There'll be lots of twists and turns in the next 12 games. Ipswich have come out of their bit of bad form and look strong again, their run doesn't look too bad on paper. Saints have the hardest run in, but they can beat everyone. The fact they still have to play the 3 above them could benefit them if they can take the points.

We're on an unreal run to win every league game in 2024, but that won't last forever, we've a few Yorkshire derbies coming up in the next few games which could throw form out of window.

He was brilliant today. Played in a slightly more advanced role and was involved with both goals.

    Oh dear .

    First half dreadful .

2nd slightly better but we cannot take our chances .

And we let in 2 goals from throw ins - poor concentration and marking

    Well deserved win.

love still being written off. Although would still be a huge shock if we get top 2.

Not a bad set of results this weekend for ourselves and Hull.

The result last night (less said the better) has certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons.

I said a few weeks ago this was far from over, 36 points still up for grabs. You look to be on a great run and Southampton a bad one, but the gap has been changing every week and I think it’s going to continue to do so.

The top 4 still have everything to play for.

What were your thoughts on our performance today as a Russell Martin fan boy?

I’m no “Russell Martin fan boy”, I just thought it was hilarious the way you all wrote a high pressing possession manager off after 6 games when he took over on the back of a relegation.

I didn’t see your game so I have no views to offer on it but you’re unfortunate that Leeds and Ipswich are going at the rate they are, any other season averaging 2 points a game is usually more than enough for top two.

    Stay quiet then.

I'll admit, I wanted him out after our shite run in September because that was 100% on him with his shite tactics, the ownership do not have my trust, i thought theyd made a pretty ill informed appointment. Football fans are fickle and we are allowed to change our mind, he earned a good amount of credit after that, I think he's a pretty good Championship standard manager but 4th place with this squad is a failure. He should be sacked if we fail to go up imo.
