Yes we did, Rashford and Sancho who both missed. I've already mentioned it further up. I'm very pro Southgate but that was a big mistake and I remember saying it at the time before they took and missed their penalties. It just heaps extra pressure on an already pressurised situation when you know the only reason you're on the pitch is to take a penalty. And you haven't had chance to warn up properly and play your way into the occasion and soak up the atmosphere and pressure of the match etc.

When both teams are from hotter climates, it is not a relevant point to make, which is why I presumed you must have been saying Morocco had an advantage.

Actually, you could say England didn’t win it because it was kind of hot. The game changed when Alf decided to rest Bobby

But yet Spain had a great possession and more shots on goal? Which means they had more movement with and with the ball.

How much 'warm up' time do you need to kick a ball? They didn't just come out from a siesta and straight onto the pitch.

No I said another hot country through.

I'm basically saying only Germany from a cooler climate has ever won a world cup in a hot climate.

Quite obvious really when you look back at the winners and the host nation.

The stats back my theory up anyway.

Holy shit that was insane, watched this on a big screen in Marrakesh's main square. Morocco deserved the win for me so delighted they got it in the end and to be here to experience it was incredible. Walked 2 miles to a restaurant after to the backing music of blaring motorbike horns interwoven with Moroccan songs all with a huge smile on my face the whole time just drinking it all in.

Rodri upset because number of passes don't win games :(

Spain for all their possession and 475, 081 passes are so boring to watch.

The only shock for me was that Morocco didn't win in normal time.

I had them to meet in the final. Placed my bet over 12 months ago. Honest.

Yep, for all of that fluff from Rodri Morocco created the best chances and looked like the more solid structured team.

He is but he basically said in his press conference after the game he wanted to stay.

Guessing it's been made pretty clear he's not wanted anymore so they're letting him 'resign' with some dignity.
