I finished watching the Gentlemen. I think Lugna put it perfectly. Netflix just gave Ritchie money to make a series, in which he regurgitated his old ideas.

Nothing noteworthy, but silly one time watch.
    The end felt underwhelming.

    Yes.
That is true. I did kind of expect a massive vinnie jones action fest at somepoint and they line up the scouse mafia at the house for just that. They teased us.

It tried to be oceans 11 but lacked the pace and slickness at the resolution IMO.

I greatly enjoyed the thing almost as if watching lock stock or snatch for nostaliga. It was really well done series but one big blow out was needed.
You cannot have vinnie jones without some serious action and violence.

    Baby Reindeer.

Just blitzed the whole 7 episodes after winding up the pool fans. Mad as a box of frogs(baby Reindeer not pool fans), genuinely worrying, very sad and occasionally funny. 7.2/10

the first one was ok - very Snyder-esque as you would expect.

the story is just Star Wars re-hashed though

100% agree, especially regarding Vinnie Jones but I really enjoyed it. Best thing Netflix has done in a while.

He is brilliant in Snatch and delivers one of my favourite lines in the film. I wanted more of a Bullet Tooth Tony & Avi dynamic.

Should I call you Bullet? Tooth?

You can call me Susan if it makes you happy.

F*ck it, I'm going to watch it for the nth time.

Im reading so much about this on social media, I think I need to give it a go. Trying to avoid spoilers, so will watch it sooner rather than later

Go for it girl, it’s funny and disturbing in equal measures but well worth the plunge.

Watched it over 2 evenings. It was a hard watch in places but balanced with a bit of humour. I knew it was based on a true story but didn’t realise he played himself telling the same. Quite a thing reliving that ordeal. Good acting by all and enjoyed it, if that’s the correct phrase.

I was just about to post the same thing. Just watched it. About half way through she had me wondering if the whole thing wasn’t as portrayed but then she slipped up a few times. Don’t believe her. Plus, Netflix would surely have done their due diligence before making this and saying it was true so they didn’t leave themselves open to legal action?

For anyone who hasn’t seen it and might want to watch it

I was waiting for Piers to say I've actually checked the public records and you did send it all. She was full of the brown stuff imo
