Pretty easy win for United, and now an entirely pointless penalty shootout. Perhaps Onana should go in goal for the penalties?
5 out of 5, all good penalties from us too. Nothing to mention in the 2nd half, just a good workout for all.
I 'for my sins' watched this on MUTV last night ,good performance from United and a deserved win ,but f*ck me I thought LFCTV were bias ,but even on there I've never heard both commentators ripping the piss out of a player to the extent they hammered Havertz and to a lesser extent Rice. Can anyone on here tell me the name of the Mancunian who helped with the commentary ? It's just I'd like to avoid ever again listening to someone who makes Paddy Crerand's commentary sound balanced
I think the co-commentator was Ben Thornley, who was a promising youngster back in the early 90s at United before leaving, possibly due to injury, having played about a dozen games under Ferguson. The commentary didn't bother me overmuch, as you say it was the United in-house TV station, in fact I was more perturbed by the two commentators constantly referring to United as 'we' for some reason.
25 July | Wrexham, San Diego 19:30 local time / 03:30 BST Confirmed United squad members for Wrexham friendly: Goalkeepers: Elyh Harrison & Dermot Mee. Defenders: Marc Jurado, Will Fish, Jonny Evans, Sonny Aljofree, Willy Kambwala & Logan Pye. Midfielders: Isak Hansen-Aarøen, Toby Collyer & Maxi Oyedele. Forwards: Shola Shoretire, Joe Hugill, Charlie McNeill & Mateo Mejia. Manchester United confirm squad for pre-season fixture against Wrexham
Hoping I'll be able to stay up for this as I'd like to see Mejia start. Considering the lack of Strikers, I thought Ten may have got him involved in the previous matches.
So this Wrexham game was utterly pointless. Player sent off (in a friendly?) and an opposition player injured, only the reserves played and by the sound of it they were well beaten.
