Reasons to be Cheerful thread

I'm off to New Zealand this afternoon. Two weeks on the south Island, gotta like those apples and kiwis..

 

Can you pop to Christchurch and say hello to my distant family members. My Great Uncle Idwal emigrated there in the 1960's, the rest is history.

Last saw them in 2000.

Beautiful country.

 

I'm there now Taff, give us the address and I'll pop round for tea and scones..

 

Make sure you ask for a scone as in gone otherwise they will look at you daft.

This is just mental.

During the Super Bowl a week on Sunday when they have a break Anthony Hopkins is staring in an advert for Stok Cold Brew Coffee which is the ground sponsor of Wrexham. In the video there is a few seconds footage from a home game which will be shown on American TV.

Crazy, crazy times we live in.

Gary Glitter to remain behind bars having lost his bid for parole. That evil t*at should never have his freedom again.

 

We all got called into the office last night, thinking uh oh what are we getting bollocked for here only to be told were all being given a £1.55 an hour pay rise, from £11.75 up to £13.30.

My last day at the flower warehouse today. I've got my old job back (sort of), so no more getting up at silly O'clock for me. I'm going to enjoy giving notice this morning to the cow who runs the place, oh yes, I'll enjoy that..

 

I work with different types of flowers too.

White, wholemeal and self raising to name 3.
