    rishi sunak has weighed in.

its clearly very very important. more important than running the country.

I didn't see it until the pm got it up on the BBC website. a amt of mine who is from an older generation was on about it and quite annoyed but I had shrugged and ignored it tbh.

if the pm is that annoyed I guess we need to have some protests.

    Fixed that for you.

Any time that idiot spends not "running the country" is a bonus in my book.

Myself and the wife getting a full on hospitality package for the rugby at Spurs tomorrow for free. A stadium tour, a three course meal and best of all free drinks all day.

    That will be nice, thanks.

It’s ok though because he’s cut National insurance by 4% in the last few months so that should be enough to buy him another 5 years.

Please tell me his opponent is Tyson Fury?

Just randomly came across a compilation of the old Peter Kay John Smiths adverts on YouTube and then followed that by watching a load of Peter Kay outtakes and now my jaws hurting from laughing so much.
I’d had a really stressful morning too and laughter really is the best medicine.

One day left in work, then not back in until the 8th April is a great reason to be cheerful.

The company I worked for being brought out by a vile, piece of shit outfit that doesn't give a f**k about employees, subsequently being made redundant, picking up over a third of my not inconsiderable salary in redundancy thanks to conditions they were forced to sign as part of the sale, taking a month off paid gardening leave, then walking straight into another job that pays more money and has far better benefits.

It's been a mad three months.

Offered a job in Ireland doing virtually the same as I am now on near as dammit double the pay. Always wanted to work abroad so I'm buzzing, should be handing my notice in end of this week then off to the emerald Isle in June!

Well done. start looking at property now mate. there's a serious shortage so have an idea before you hand in notice.

no idea what you.do but presume its Dublin so you'll need to look at commutes and where to get set up.

pm if you like. I'm sure someone like guyett would also be happy and might know more.

It's in Limerick, I've already started looking and prices in the centre are ridiculous but there looks to be a decent amount that are affordable and not too terrible in terms of commute.

I work in medical devices so Galway and Limerick are the real hubs over there.

    those are 100%.

I don't know an awful amount about limerick but Galway is woeful for traffic.

there's a wide area to choose from and "probably" very commutable.

In an age where every f**ker has been banging on about their car insurance going up 50%, getting my renewal through and it going up less than £25.

However, that's for the family workhorse which is a 10 year old Mondeo. I'm not looking forward to the renewal on the GLC.

It's only fair that we all contribute to the wellbeing of those lovely insurance companies, gives me a nice warm feeling knowing that I'll have the opportunity to give them a bit more cash when the renewal for my car is due in October.
