I could make a joke here, about sheep, but I won’t because I’m too mature. :lame:

As an infrequent train user (usually just into and out of London), I was gobsmacked that my ticket from a village north of Cambridge to Portsmouth on a Friday in April has cost just £9.70.

To cap that, Glasgow to Ely, via Edinburgh, was as low as £45 but I paid £10 extra to get flexibility on which train and have a refund option if needed.

Just hope the old rail replacement buses aren't swinging into action.

Won't be anything not heard before.

Whatever you say will be true anyway. Gets lonely in the dark winter nights.

Today me and my mum are flying to Salzburg for the night to celebrate Mother’s Day today and her 89th birthday tomorrow. I booked the flights for her Christmas present and booked a tour with cable car to the mountains tomorrow. On the way to Stansted airport now :)

The annual subscription for my Ring doorbell will change from £34.99/year to £49.99/year per device today (11th March), so yesterday I cancelled it then signed up again to give a further full year at the lower price. Small things . . .

My little lad Morgan was in the local paper. Was World Book Day last Thursday and he went to school dressed up as The Cat In The Hat. Raced out and bought the paper this morning as had been told he would appear in it.

Won a load of Easter Eggs in my little lad's school raffle. Was asked to donate something then buy the tickets but the funds raised go to the school. Nice selection of Cadbury eggs and slabs of chocolate to devour and see my blood sugar levels go through the roof.

Mrs D and myself passed our Australian Citizenship test and interview earlier in the week. Had my approval letter an hour after my test but waiting for the wife’s. Still not Aussies yet though - have to attend a Citizenship Ceremony in a few months before we are officially citizens.
