Are these cars suicidal? Got behind one today and I thought it were gonna set off like a rocket but it were driven by a woman when I saw and overtook(a huge shame). I prefer the old (original) 2.0 Williams Clio to the new ones though. Anyone driven one?
Good motor i have to say quick as most things in there class and a decent motor too not just all about power.Only down side i would get banned in anything like that.Borrowed my mates to go up scotland while mine was going through the MOT.Did 120mph and it still felt like there was plenty more left in it.Only boy racers with a bit of dosh behind them drive this suckers.
Sort of had a race against one coming home from work yesterday afteroon. I beat him through the country lanes 'cos I were obviously the better driver And then he beat me on this long straight road and the power just took off. I was doing 90 when he overtook aswell.
I went out in a friend of a friend's Golf GTI 'special edition' the other night (220bhp, 2.0l Turbo) and that is ridiculously fast. I won't tell you what sort of speeds we got up to... but 135mph is f*cking rapid.
Never been in a Golf GTI Best cars I've been in are Rolls Royce , Silver Ghost and Subaru Impreza. My dad had a 2.2 Honda Accord back in the day too that was quick and good.
My brother really rates these motor's, Tbh i dont know enough about them, Good engine's now though unlike the old 1.4 Turbo's they used to do, They look smart too, Love the old Williams clio aswell. I have been in just about most cars apart from the super cars but even driven a few of those too, I have personally driven Corvette Z06,Lamborghini Diablo as a passenger, Mercedes C AMG, Lotus Elise (tuned) and an Exige, Sat in a Esprit too with someone else driving,Drove all M3's apart from the newest and a Z3, The list goes on But they are the best one's.
I wish my car was as quick at accelerating after 90mph as it is before It takes forever to get to 100+ after 90mph. But it's not too bad from start off.
Well a Civic's Type R is just over 200 BHP, It can be done but with alot of money spending and alot of work doing.
In other words spending what the cars worth in most cases. Not worth the hassle really but as they say "boys will be boys".
