Honestly made Adshead is absolutely brilliant. Would love us to sign us. Never loses the ball. He’s a massive reason why we picked up

Played in the middle, not sure of his exact position but with how we play he was always looking forward.

I think he would be worth getting back regardless of what league we're in. Bit of upheaval on our end with that and the management but I reckon he'd want to return.

Hearing that we've decided who to keep (it might be more than expected) but they've been offered much reduced terms, which is basically what Singh does every season.

Nicky Featherstone must be on national minimum wages by now

Agreed, can cover both wing backs and give the ability to change shape if needed.

Phillips will be back on the Rock n Roll October/November time if he keeps any of that midfield trio, even on reduced terms and I'd be seriously worried about giving him any sort of budget to bring new faces in if he thinks they're capable, we had the player meetings Tuesday, how are we still dragging our feet over this, it should be the easiest retained list of all time.

Typical Pools, is KP even contracted for next season.

    York lad ain't he?

Gotta imagine Uggla will be flicking Daddy's dosh at him, mind it's always a concern signing a number 1 from a team relegated conceding 80+ in a season, we did the same with Ben Killip, turned into a horror show.

From this area and a lot of rumours saying he wants to move back. With the obvious fact that he was at Worthing with the manager adds speculation.
Can see a few coming down when play offs are over.
Hinslewood said on radio show last night that they got rid of Stockdale & Lever (recruitment) because he was having full control of signings, been going to Halifax and Rochdale to watch extra matches in this league.

Think you’ll be less of a basket case this season and should be in and around the play offs, this Hinshelwood seems like he knows what he’s doing and hopefully Uggla’s learned a few lessons, like not throwing 100k at Cordner.

Any news on Cordner, he being released or contracted for another year?

I actually like Cordner and think he will turn it round.
He got injured in 2nd friendly then looked overweight and slow.On top of club having a novice manager and signing 30 odd players.
He took his time getting back to fitness and looked good.
Made a ridiculous mistake against Wigan in FA Cup and fell out with Ardley.
Hopefully a full preseason fitness and will return to level he enjoyed at yours.then he can win the fans round.

If Cordner got fit and back into good form I'd have him back at the Hall in a shot.

Local paper has reported that contract offers may be given to McGahey, Green, Gardner and Fondop, presumably based on who else is available and/or season ticket sales.

It also says Magnus Norman, Liam Hogan, Nathan Sheron, Mark Shelton and Alex Reid have been told to find new clubs.

Not bothered about those being told to find other clubs. Sheron and hogan i would want to keep as squad players at best the others i never want to see in an oldham shirt again.

However id be seriously concerned about those you've mentioned staying, with the exception of fondop who i feel offers something different. Gardner is good enough but has a season ticket on the physio's table, green is also injury prone, while mcgahey is tripe.
