The bar has to be set somewhere, although I do agree that £28k is too low. Having said that, the table shows that someone on £35k is paying £5 p/m extra tax and someone on £40k pays £10 p/m extra, so we're not talking about hugely significant sums that anyone would notice at those levels. The figures only really start to ramp up at £50k earnings i.e. once you get into the higher tax bracket which as I originally said makes sense, higher earners should pay more tax (and I speak as someone who would be c. £150 'worse off' per month if I lived north of the border).
Just heard that Sturgeon's husband has been charged with embezzlement of £600,000 from The SNP which was money set aside for campaigning for independence. The police should look into Sturgeon's role in this as i can't believe she knew nothing about it,i await our SNP supporter on here trying to defend it.
To be fair to her she thought all that extra cash that was appearing in her joint account with her husband was from the money breeding. Horny little buggers those Scottish bank notes you know.
You can tag me you know. I don't defend any embezzling, I try and explain my position which is £600,000 is literally nothing compared to the billions daily being embezzled by the UK Government therefore he can have the 600k, the laws caught up with him, its being dealt with. What I find fantastically ironic is that English people get such a kick out of this when their own Government are a million times worse
I condemn any stealing, embezzling. Unfortunately I'm adult enough to know its rule 1 of the politik game
I hope not i want him to cause as much damage to The SNP as possible. Another referendum vote? There's more chance of my team Wycombe Wanderers playing in The Champions League.
As an SNP voter even you have to admit they are f*cked and independence will never happen and The EU will never allow Scotland to join The EU because of Scotland's financial situation as they have enough basket cases already costing The EU a fortune.
Never. More than "an SNP voter" I'm a socialist, a realist. The UK is a spent force which every single day it carries on, is being left in the doldrums. I want an end to "the union" even if I have to follow a The Rangers supporting, Catholic hating simpleton. You have a deep misunderstanding about what "independence " means to a lot of Scots.
