Lazio fans aren't even pretending. Samuel scores for Inter and the Stadio Olimpico erupts.

Disgraceful performance by Lazio as they rolled over against Inter. The lazio fans cheered the Inter goals.

Milan managed to get back to winning ways and Juve dropped points again meaning they can not get 4th.

    Atalanta 1-1 Bologna
    Bari 3-0 Genoa
    Cagliari 2-2 Udinese
    Catania 1-1 Juventus
    Chievo 1-2 Napoli
    Lazio 0-2 Inter
    Milan 1-0 Fiorentina
    Parma 1-2 Roma
    Sampdoria 2-0 Livorno
    Siena 1-2 Palermo

    Inter 76
    Roma 74
    Milan 67
    Sampdoria 63
    Palermo 61
    Napoli 56
    Juventus 55

It would be sweet justice if Lazio got relegated now, but sadly Bologona's late equaliser at Atalanta means that is very unlikley to happen

Looks like Milan are interested in making Van Basten their new coach, not much difference from Leonardo in all honesty, probably Berlusconi thinks another fan favorite being appointed manager is a way of winning over the fans, but lets be honest, Van Basten imo wont do a great deal better with the same squad Leonardo has and there will probs be no money to invest in the squad if Berlusconi stays on as President.

Van Basten will do a lot worse than Leo.

The squad will be a year older and he certainly wont get Ronaldinho playing to his current level.

Next season is going to be hard work for Milan fans.

Totti keeps the dream alive! But it would be a miracle if Inter slip up on the final day.

Good result for Sampdoria at Palermo and they are in ploe postion for fourth now.

Juve and Milan just seem to get worse everyweek.

Rumours going round that Juve are going to try and re-sign Ibrahimovic would love to see it happen but its proabbly just paper talk.

Well it goes to the last day but there is more chance of seeing Sonic the Hedgehog flying a UFO around Milan then seeing Roma win the title as Siena should be cannon foder for Inter on the last day of the season.

As for Sampdoria, it still aint over yet, Napoli last game of the season is tough and they will be an akward opponent whatever the circumstance but i do think Samp will see it home especially as Napoli now have 6th guaranteed and have nothing to play for.

Having seen the teams that will be in the play off round for the Champions League though, i cant see Sampdoria getting through it tbh, they will be unseeded that is for sure and could bump into Zenit, Sevilla, Lyon, Fenerbache (possible) or Bremen and all would be tough imo.

I guess it depends on who they buy and more importantly who they keep, as Cassano and Pazzini would be a handful for any of those teams but like you say it will be very tough for them.

Personally i would still prefer the Europa League as there is more chance of doing well in that then reaching the Champions League Quarters or Semis (we can dream that would ever happen). I would be happy with a CL spot for Sampdoria but sceptical as well, like you said, it all depends on who can be kept etc and brought in.

As for Juve their appauling season goes from bad to worse, if i were the Agnelli family who own the club i would be on the phone to Manuel Pellegrini sharpish as imo he is a better candidate for the job then any of the Italian coaches tipped for it, though they better be sharpish as i have no doubt Milan will want Pellegrini too.

Another poor performance from Milan losing at Genoa. Flamini was also sent off for a 2nd bookable offence.

At least Pato was back in the team.

As i understand it we are now guranteed 3rd place even if we end level on points with Samp as our head to head record against them is better.

I hope that is the case as 3rd is an automatic place where as 4th means a qualification round.

Inter will win the title next weekend i have no doubt.

    Napoli 2 - 0 Atalanta
    Udinese 3 - 3 Bari
    Roma 2 - 1 Cagliari
    Bologna 1 - 1 Catania
    Juventus 2 - 3 Parma
    Fiorentina 1 - 1 Siena
    Palermo 1 - 1 Sampdoria
    Genoa 1 - 0 AC Milan
    Livorno 1 - 2 Lazio
    Inter Milan 4 - 3 Chievo

Boban would you take Pellegrini as new coach of Milan? i think he would be a good replacement for Leonardo if he is sacked like the rumours are making out. He has worked with a tight budget before in the past and could do so at Milan next season if Old Silvio doesnt sell up.

Leo is leaving for sure, but as Van Basten is one of Silvio's favourites i have no doubt he will be coach next season. Seeing the complete mess he made at Ajax, im really worried about what he will do to us.

Pellegrini would be one of my preferred choices.

The only positive with Van Basten taking over as he may be able to convince Silvio to invest some serious money.

We have so many weaknesses that without serious investment in the summer we will struggle to get 4th.

Well Leonardo departs from AC Milan on a high note with a 3-0 win vs Juventus who for the first season ever (or certainly in a long time finish a season with a minus goal difference)
It should be a major rebuilding act at Juventus next year, apart from Buffon, Chiellini, Diego and Marchisio i would get rid of everyone, as the whole team has been poor and it needs rebuilding.
If i were Chiellini though i would get away from Juve myself, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid could all use a top centre half for next season and so long as Blanc and Secco are at the club Juve will continue to go backwards, if i were Chiellini i would be off in a shot as Juve arent going to challenge for honours for another 3 seasons imo and it would be a waste of his talents to not challenge for anything, if i were Arsenal i would make him my number 1 summer transfer target, especially if he has a good World Cup

Well its half time and the only 2 issues that need sorting out are atm going the way of the sides who were the underdogs at the start of the day.

Atm Palermo are in next seasons Champions League due to their 1-0 lead vs Atalanta. Samp are only drawing with Napoli at home atm

But even more significantly, atm Roma are champions as at half time they are winning 2-0 vs Chievo and Inter are only drawing 0-0 vs Siena.

I dont want to jinx anything though, so i will keep my mouth shut!

Well Millito has scored now for Inter, that is that, cant see Siena scoring now, title goes to Inter and Mourinho.

As for the goal, who set up Millito, that man Zanetti, still going strong at 36, Maradona is a complete cokehead to ignore him for Argentina and the World Cup.

Has anyone done better in the transfer market than Inter this season?

Milito looks set to fire them to the title.

Sneijder, Lucio, Motta, and Eto'o have all played their parts.

Pandev was a useful midseason addition that didn't cost them a dime in transfer fees.

If this Mariga character turns out to be a success it'll just be the icing on the cake.

Mourinho didn't do too well with his signings in his first season it's been the complete opposite in 2009/10. Selling Zlatan for such a massive fee really allowed them to improve their overall squad, and you can clearly see the results in their European success (not so much in the league).
