    tbh Freddie Frinton (always thought it was Freddie and not Freddy?) and his Dinner for One is Cult in Germany. It's shown every year at Silvester (New Year's eve) in German TV (in most of our regional tv channel's) since the 1960's

    Hauptmann Deutschland? Do you mean the "Hauptmann von Köpenick"? Or Gerhart Hauptmann (Noble prize winner in Literature)?

    Are you nuts, jonny? If we had won yesterday the "curse" ( Germany's football shit since I joined FF) would've been broken and I'd stay no matter what. And would've mocked you guys here all the time about losing against a shit German team. ;)

    (nah, I'd never do that. I'm a man of honour and would be happy about the win but nothing more. A bit friendly banter maybe but no malice. Now I can take my fair share of (friendly) banter from you guys instead)

    Next chance of breaking the curse: HSV promoted in 2021/22 or we win the World Cup 2022 with Hansi Flick :D
