Absolutely. I love him too. He's done more good for the Anglo-German relations than all those diplomats and politicians ;).
He's calling himself German Comedy Ambassador. I remember that @Mowgli likes him too, he's also a Wycombe Wanderers fan.

He's always good value on panel shows, he certainly laid to rest the myth that Germans don't have a sense of humour. Haven't seen much of him recently, but that's probably due to the travel issues with Covid.

‘I initially planned to stay in the UK for only 12 months to improve my English, but the good weather, the tasty food and the classy women made me stay. In order to blend in with the locals, I decided to get extremely lazy, spend money I don't have and, most importantly, to unjustifiably bang on about my great sense of humour. This is why I decided 1,646 days, nine hours and 42 minutes ago to try my hand at stand-up and become the German Comedy Ambassador.’

Today's the final day of the Euro with England vs Italy.

And yesterday I had a revelation concerning this thread: It wasn't my fault that nearly everything important in German Football (and this is HSV and the Nationalmannschaft) turned to shit since I joined FF nearly 5 years ago, it was yours (aka the english ). I'm relieved and now I'm staying and celebrating my 5 years anniversary in a few days. :D

Stret, you want to hear my newest sensational theory? The EU referendum is the reason German football can't reach a final anymore in a tournament. It's not that the team was shit in 2018 or 2021, it's Brexit :D

Let me explain: You had your referendum on June 23. Only 2 weeks later Germany lost the semi-final against France and never reached a final again since 2014. This 7 year drought of not being in a final since 2014 is now the longest Germany had to endure since the 12 years from 1954-1966. The previous longest drought was 6 years ( eg. 1966-1972,1996-2002-2008-2014). And with the World Cup only in 1 1/2 years it will be nearly 9 years, until our Home Euro 2024 it will even be 10 years without a final. :eyemouth:

And I've also found the real reason for your Brexit: Forget mass immigration, free movement, corrupt EU bureaucrats etc, it's because you wanted to be in a final in football again. Your only final 1966 was before you joined the (then) EEC. And only a few months after you finally left the EU you are in your 2nd final ever.

    A coincidence? I don't think so :D.
You had no chance to reach a final as member of the EU so you decided to quit. Best decision ever, it seems. Congrats. Good luck for the final today. If you win it today I'll start a petition and write to our government that we want to exit the EU, too, to end our drought of not being in a football-final anymore.

But I still haven't worked out in my conspiracy theory why my beloved HSV has to suffer too. I can understand your guys reason to end Germany's final appearances in Euro and World Cups but why my HSV? Is it because Kevin Keegan played for us from 1977-1980 and was here even more popular than in his home country?
Are you guys so unforgiving that you cursed my Club more than 36 later in 2017 for it? This theory I have still to examine. Otherwise my thesis is complete.

Conclusion: I'll stay and I'm relieved it's not my fault. Good luck for today's final. I don't bear grudges ;)
