Player returns from injury at the time he was expected to return = dodgy Club has 115 charges related to financial irregularities = fine
What the **** are you on about? Why would he fake an injury to miss out on a tournament he'd love to win? Then miss several Liverpool games? Not all clubs/players are dishonest cheats you know, I know you City lot are just used to dishonesty and shit though
Trent's injury is a reoccurrence of the one he was out with & he's out of the final. Man City is the game he's being pencilled in to return, so he'll likely miss the next 5. Not a good look for our medical/sports science staff, Szoboszlai, Trent & Thiago all injured on their return to the team, two with reoccurrences of the injuries they were out for, and it being stated that Trent was rushed back. I know we were short on RB options at the weekend with Gomez getting flu, but Trent wasn't right from the start & it was a risk that's really backfired. At least from squad terms Tsimikas is now available, Gomez is over his illness & Bradley has returned after his time away to deal with that terrible personal loss.
Could tell something was up with Trent. He looked well off the pace. I think there's more than a few questions to be asked of our medical department!

Is there any word on the injury front? I heard it was very bad for Jota and could be long enough for jones to put him out for the season but these could be pure rumours.
Gutted over Jota, has been superb since he got in the team, luckily the player he was replacing just happens to be Mo Salah. Jota was undroppable. Jones should be ok for final I've heard.
Ali is set to miss travelling with the Brazil squad in the middle of March, so I guess that means he is going to be out a lot longer than expected. Glad that we have Kelleher as back up that is capable, than having to run the next few weeks with Adrian between the sticks.
As I said in the Luton thread, its not just the fact we have injuries, its the players injured. We're left with several players that can be inconsistent and prone to very poor games. Gakpo and Gravenberch, both prone to really poor games with minimal effect. Elliott is prone to being ineffective and bullied/over powered. Diaz can have his average/annoying games. Attackwise youre talking our three absolute starters in Nunez/Salah/Jota currently out. In goal missing best on the planet, luckily Kelleher is a cracking back-up but we have City on the horizon, gutted Alisson will probs miss that. Midfield we're one injury away from having to play kids with mere minutes or no League experience. One more injury up front or in the midfield and we're going to truly struggle. Jurgen needs to recall Morton and Carvalho, compared to some of our current bench, at least they both have decent first team experience. I really wouldnt be shocked if our form totally falls off the cliff the next few weeks.
It is pretty wild to be without your three best sources for goals, and your two most creative footballers, and your first choice keeper at the same time.
It's shit but times like these stars are born and that is how some of biggest legends have cemented themselves.
