Dortmund , I just knew it, gonna be difficult getting past these men. Last time we played there was the 2001 final, which we won. Edit. Last time we played there was in CL the following season, 0-0.
Not fair enough mate. Fighting at a football match is just as unacceptable as it is to chant about disasters imo. There's no place for it in football. It's out of order.
Like I said where you're quoting me: We'll take the punishment because a group of knobheads shouted Munich at the end, but your whole f*cking away end were chanting about Hillsborough throughout the game last week for the world to hear and got away scot free from your boy Gill's organisation and were audibly chanting offensive shite all through the game yesterday. Why is Hillsborough fair game by UEFA? I can ignore most of your lots Tory shite about Slums and Council Houses, or even Heysel stuff given what happened, but Hillsborough stuff is bang out of order. Munich is completely unacceptable as well and yes it has mostly been consigned to history after Hillsborough. You can't control every f*cking idiot though, but the whole end doesn't chant it. There was nothing during the game in either leg from our fans chanting Munich despite ridiculous provocation. I've heard Munich chanted in pubs by knobheads and i've heard them chanted on coaches or by a few on trains or whatever. In 25 years of going the game (less these days but i've been to hundreds of Liverpool games, including plenty of Liverpool-United) i've not heard Munich chants during the game at all. You and Chelsea love your Hillsborough taunts though.
You said nearly all the away end were chanting Munich which simply isn't true. A few were at the end of the game and the club have been charged (fair enough if United are held to any account). You had the whole United away end near enough chanting about Hillsborough last week and get away with it as usual (and were chanting enough bile last night, Hillsborough mocked again, and got away with that). It's staggering.
There were 2 points where the majority of the Liverpool away end were chanting Munich, It was so loud anyone could hear it, I don't really care I just think it's funny how you try defend the people who done it
When exactly? What minute? If you mean the video from the end of the game it's a few dickheads shouting it for a few seconds. As far as I know that was it.
Not sure what minute if I was to guess I'd say sometime in the 70s, and I was there mate if it was just a few I wouldn't of heard it why can't you accept that like you haven't been fined by Uefa for whispering it
I'm not saying it never happened, but I certainly didn't hear it on the telly yet I could hear our fans singing all game. It's the kind of thing you'd notice (plus hearing the reaction from the United crowd there if it did happen). I haven't heard any other report of loads chanting Munich during the game, just that vid at the end of it. I'd be very surprised and saddened if there was widespread Munich chanting during the game. I'd expect it to be drowned out if anyone started it.
Being honest it was a majority the 2 times I mentioned, I just don't see why people try defend it and play it down when it's their club, there's w*ankers in Liverpool, Manchester, London, Dublin etc, every group of fans that have songs like this to sing are at it, it's just people being c*nts in general
I'm just not going to condemn something I haven't heard or seen. I heard it on the video posted after the game and I heard Hillsborough taunts over both games. I'll condemn them because i've heard and seen them. I've said i'll ignore the usual shite you get but Hillsborough is unacceptable. Munich is unacceptable. I find it disgusting and insulting that Hillsborough chants are deemed fair game by UEFA.
Both totally unacceptable but an away fan sitting in the home end and mouthing off is asking for a kicking (assuming this is the fighting being referred to)
My point is there is a difference. If you have 2 fans wanting to equally kill each other then so be it. To hear victims of a tragedy mocked by a gobshite turns my stomach!
It makes me laugh how some people like to think it's ok to physically assault someone at a football match then make excuses for it. I've sat in many home ends as an away fan and yes, I keep my mouth shut but regardless, throwing punches is out of order and not needed. I would shout some abuse at someone who did that but in no way would I start physically assaulting them.
