Looks like we've sorted the goalkeeper out @Kirby. Guessing you lot didn't want to sell Johnstone after all, at least not to us anyway

What's going on at Fulham, they seem to be bidding for everyone on the last day?

I'm guessing we signed Munoz and Wharton on perms regardless of what Roy thought with a view to the future, but we're allowing him to have more of a say on short term loans as ultimately he's the one who'll be managing them 'til May.

Either way I agree. Even if Cornet doesn't contribute a lot it's got to be better having him on the bench than a 19-year-old Roy clearly has no intention of playing. At least Cornet's proven at this level with Burnley. Everyone knows our problem is depth so it's just about getting a couple of experienced players in to fill holes at this point.

Saw that. I remember him from Newcastle.

We would've been mental to let Johnstone go unless we had a quality replacement ready to come in. You might get him in the summer though, although I'd rather you took Henderson back.

Cornet loan included payments to West Ham for every game he didn't play.. Probably why Roy has a say in this

I’ve no idea but it just seems a completely weird signing to make

I just can't believe that a club already pushing FFP would sign a player to then ship to its sister club in Greece, especially as its only a loan deal at the moment

Sheffield United fans should be hoping Mason Holgate never plays for them in the Premier League.

Enes Unal signed on loan up front from Getafe, covering Kieffer Moore going to Ipswich.

Struggling to understand why we didn't use any of our loan spots at all this season, but spending £26m-odd on two key positions in the current climate has to be seen as a good window.

Think I read we spent the most in the PL this Jan so can't argue with that. Just hope we follow it up and give the new manager some proper backing in the summer.

Bit of a shambles from West Ham who've agreed to let both Benrahma and Fornals leave and neither were completed in time. Lyon in particular not very happy with the Hammers.

We tried to do a Forest on the last day and get Akpom - why? We just couldn't help ourselves. Ajax obviously aren't stupid, and with the buy option only coming to effect if we stay up - they obviously aren't confident in that.

We have Awoniyi, Wood & possibly Ribiero if Origi goes to the MLS. We don't really need Akpom, and i'd rather us wait til the summer to buy a striker we aren't rushing for.

So a total of 3 in and 7 outgoings resulting in a positive net spend window. Good business to get 30m total package for Mangala too. You wouldn't think that reading the media outlets who are painting us as fools whilst we are under a FFP charge.

Just reading about Unal Enes that Iraola (a defender in his day) played against him in La Liga a few years ago, Enes scoring. Can't be too often a manager signs a player he's actually played against. Also read that he spent some time at Man City as a youngster, they spent 10m on him. That one passed me by.
