according to the sun ' so it must be true '

Bolton Wanderers are showing interest in former Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah, who is available on a free transfer after recently trialling with Stoke City.

If you're a Posh player & Ipswich come calling it's a no brainer but the last 3 have imo all gone / going backwards , Paul Taylor , Gwion Edwards & currently Jack Taylor with his lack of game time even if their wage packets are vastly enhanced in Suffolk .

Think player & agent decide today which offer to take up according to our end as well as an old Posh player Conor Coventry could be joining you guys on loan from West Ham , could all be pinch of salt stuff if it's Posh & or our local journo's .

Don’t think Jack Taylor has gone backwards, he’s not starting that often over Luongo but he is getting plenty off the bench most games. He’s playing a different role with us at a higher level and is improving all round I think. Luongo has been fantastic but isn’t getting any younger and Taylor will, I hope, come into the picture more with time.

The other Taylor was right up there with our worst ever signings however, that’s true. Gwion was just too injury prone really, a shame.

I've noticed he rarely starts only in Cup matches & would expect if this is still the case this time next year he'll be looking for a move , then again , I expect your manager to be at the helm at Old Trafford in the Summer , I'm sometimes wrong :D

The only way he’ll be in the dugout at Old Trafford in the summer is at the helm of ITFC

Funny how it works out, because I remember Paul Taylor playing for Rotherham against us in the Championship and he was arguably the best player on the pitch.

On his day he was worth the admission fee , you should have seen him & Lee Tomlin rip Ipswich a new one when Posh thrashed them 7-1 around 12/13 years ago reason why Ipswich shelled out if I remember £1.5 million for him .

I think we had Paul Jewell in charge at the time, haplessly trying to salvage the on and off pitch wreckage of the Keane era. There had been rumours about George Boyd for ages and what started off as Boyd and Taylor for 2 million ended up being Taylor on his own for 1.5m. Jewell was so desperate and the club was such a circus that we totally had our pants pulled down. He had a couple of decent games but basically was ‘injured’ a lot, by all accounts getting slightly over-refreshed a bit too often. Says a lot about the state of the club at that time.

Not sure what's going on with JCH's " alleged " move to Charlton , Posh have accepted bids but there's talk he's not interested in joining them , wants to stay at Posh & see out his contract before going on a ' free ' in the Summer probably to the U.S .

Cracking news IF true , our pitch is abysmal atm & not condusive for playing football on the floor , a big target man & former 2 time League 1 Golden Boot winner up top is a very good option .

Good luck to ex Posh player Joe Taylor at Lincoln , good move from Luton slowly letting him step up the football pyramid see how he goes .

We've signed 19 year old striker Gideon Kodua from West ham on loan until the end of the season,he played against us in the pisspot trophy last Tuesday and scored their consolation goal and impressed a lot of our fans,we already have Freddie Potts on loan from them which should help him settle in.
Sheffield United have recalled Harry Brook from his loan spell which is a shame and Man City have recalled Kian Brekin as the say he wasn't playing enough games,to be fair he was crap when he did play.

Awful for Posh when he was on loan a couple of seasons back and MK Dons said the same thing.

Strangely enough Rotherham fans seemed to like him in the champ last season so maybe he has improved...He would really need to !!!

After getting nowhere near West Hams first XI in 6 years, not having much league experience and with his poor form on his loans...the Rotherham thing might mean he is worth a punt on a low transfer fee / short contract.

Think the fee was £1M and signed on a 3.5 year deal with West Ham having at least a 50% sell on fee clause

Blimey that seems to be total madness. He would need to have improved hugely from his Posh days. A million notes / 3.5 years (!!!?) based on a dozen appearances at Rotherham.

Obviously I could be wrong but that feels like a huge panic buy, unless you suddenly have money to burn.

He did ok for us but supporters couldn't help themselves from comparing him to Dan Barlaser because he signed on loan as a replacement.
He is no Dan Barlaser but he worked hard for the team and did the best he could.
He supposedly has a tremendous shot on him but we didn't see it TBH, I can't remember him scoring at all.

Talk up here was he was going to Wednesday on loan but I suppose West Ham would rather cash in while they can.

I doubt he's cost a million outright, it must be if all the add ons come into effect I would think.

Good luck to the lad I hope he goes on to have a good career, he always did his best and worked hard doing the unspectacular jobs some players won't entertain.

The teams linked with him vale and Exeter can't afford pay 500k. Don't think many teams in this league could afford pay that asking price.
