The fire sale is rumoured to have begun. Tom Holmes and Nelson Abbey to Luton, althought the latter is refusing to move. Deal being progressed without the knowledge of Mark Bowen or Ruben Selles.

Smells of asset stripping before he folds the club. He did the same at Roselare in Belgium.

We’ve got Niall Huggins out for the season, Dennis Cirkin out for the best part of the season and have both Alese and Pembele just returned from lengthy injuries so I wonder if it could also be us looking at him?

Then again, if he costs more than a Freddo and a bag of buttons then we might be out of the race.

    It's his birthday today , 22 , I can't even remember that far back .

He would cost you £3m , he's our 2nd or 3rd most valuable asset , but , never say never .

Now the McCauley Gillesphey signing is definitely more like it. Very highly thought of at Plymouth and has always looked the part when I have seen him play.

Me too...just seems a huge amount if its all up front. Probably 100k up front and 900k if he plays 50 times for England...which is unlikely considering he has the record caps for Rep of Ireland U21 .

Definitely can’t see us spending that much on a left back, in this window anyway. Striker is a priority for us and they tend to be expensive. Your boy Taylor started yesterday, don’t know if Luongo is injured but this could be an opportunity for him. Did ok, gives the ball away too often compared to Massimo (which is unsurprising) but still had a decent game.

Our local journo reports Michael Smith from Owls to you guys , any truth or is it just the Warne / Rotherham connection & will or would he get game time for Derby in the Championship next season IF signed on a permanent ?

Started off the season as a regular, then got dropped and cant get his place back. Decent shot on him (got 4 goals) but the game passes him by most of the time.

Rumours on twitter that he’s one more league start off a pay rise which might explain it, although we have been better without him over the past couple of months.

Nothing like his Dad really. Seems grounded and sensible. A bit of an all rounder midfielder but needs more development, get a bit stronger and focus before he will be good at this level. But he’ll go far, just turned 20 and already capped by Wales too.

Sounds like the fire sale at Reading is well and truly starting.

    Signed one of their players?

See you are after Clarke Harris too.

Be two goalscorers at this level.

Just need to sort the other areas of the team out!

We've not even made a bid yet.

JCH isn't gonna happen as he wants more money than we're offering and we already offered double his wages at Peterborough.

Fry reckon's that JCH is stupid for twice turning Charlton's offer down which would see him becoming the highest paid player in League 1 on £12.5k a week more than the current £12k a week C.Hourihanne earns at Derby although if Posh get £500k for JCH Fry gets his 10% & in's & outs have been thin on the ground this window & anything Fry or MacAnthony says must be taken with a pinch of salt .

Nathanael Ogbeta in his last 6 months of contract at Swansea , a left wing / back on loan last season until he got injured rumoured to be coming back on loan , no thanks , he wouldn't get anywhere near this current team .

You've had one rejected apparently - along with Oxford.

Maybe JCH has seen Charlton play and does not fancy it much...or he knows that he can get the same wages (and more) at the end of the season from a champ club and a decent chunk of the 500k in his pocket as a signing on fee as well.

From a financial perspective ...It really isn't rocket science why he is staying at Posh until the end of the season.

Carlisle are whinging about our asking price too. It's about time we stood our ground. We've been too soft for too long. We have a lad with 16 goals, 22 years old and 2.5 years left on his contract. £500k is the minimum we should be accepting. Wimbledon want £3m for that Al Hamadi ffs.
