Isn't that what we reportedly did with Alexis sanchez, fred, and Maguire?

Altay Bayindir will make his debut for Manchester United against Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.

Bayindir joined United from Fenerbahce on transfer deadline day for £4.28million but fellow goalkeeper Andre Onana has started in all 30 games this season.

The Turkey international played in a behind-closed-doors defeat to Burnley in midweek and manager Erik ten hag confirmed he will replace Onana, who is on international duty with Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations.

It'll be nice to see Bayindir play. Either he's shocking in training, or Onana is one of the managers favourites, as I thought we'd have seen him before now

Seems Hannibal Mejbri has been behaving like Billy Big-Bollocks at Seville, and has been excluded from the squad.

Sevilla have announced that Hannibal Mejbri will not be considered for selection for the foreseeable future after a worrying start to his loan spell at the club.

The 21-year-old joined the La Liga club on loan from Manchester United earlier this month, having rejected the chance to join Everton instead. Hannibal made his debut for Sevilla in a 5-1 defeat to Girona last weekend and was left out of the squad for the midweek defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey.

It has also been announced that he will not be involved in their league match against Osasuna on Saturday and will remain sidelined until the matter is resolved.

"After being with him, talking to him and having seen his first minutes in Girona, we are going to give him the necessary space to understand where he is, that he is at Sevilla and what it means," manager Quique Sánchez Flores said.

"He has to know where he is and we want to see him. We have spoken with him and we believe that he has to have some time to learn, we wanted to give him space, time for him to see things from the outside and then he will return to the squad.

"In the end they are kids who have come and suddenly land in a huge club like Sevilla in circumstances of maximum demand. And they need a bit of location. And that location may be seen better from the outside than from the inside. You should take a step to understand what we want.

"Let's see if the boy applies himself and I think that in the end he will understand perfectly what we want."

Looked totally out of his depth whenever he’s played for us. Surprised Sevilla wanted him

I am keeping everything crossed that the Radcliffe buy in is the start of a major change in our recruitment.

I am slowly starting to lean against Ten Hag now, last year I thought he done a decent enough job. 3rd in league (despite losing some extremely silly games) and a trophy. Decent. However, this year we have been absolutely woeful.

I am a big believer that there are too many over hyped sh*thouses playing for us and no wise headed leader amongst them. When you look at Fernandes, how can he be captain? He throws in the towel to easily and his whinging is up there with the worst I have ever seen in a United shirt.

We should of gone all out for Kane in the summer. I said it at the time and now I am even more certain. Not only would he of got goals but his experience would of played dividends.

Ten Hag can't say he hasn't been backed either. It was him who wanted Antony for a ridiculous fee and he got him. I would go as far as saying the only decent signing he has made has been Martinez.

Onana has been shocking, I did however feel he would be top rank after impressing with Ajax and Inter. I am struggling to think of a United keeper who has came straight in and impressed instantly apart from big Pete and Van de Sar. But Onana has been way worse than any other I can remember. Barthez, Bosnich, De Gea were nowhere near as bad in their first seasons. But he has made more howlers in half a season than the likes of Ederson and Allison have made in their whole British careers. I would give him the rest of the season to turn it around, if not get rid.

At this stage though, it looks like we need a new player in each position. New keeper, a new CB, a new couple of wing backs, a new CDM , a couple of new wingers , another midfielder or two and another striker to replace the inevitable departure of Martial. After ten years since Fergie left, we have made absolutely no progress and have gone backwards. We need a near enough whole new squad to be competing again and after his first 18 or so months I am not sure Ten Hag is the man to oversee such a big rebuild.

One positive is we are unbeaten in 2024 so far, so hopefully 3 points against Wolves tonight!

Also, for what it is worth, I would do all we can to get Greenwood back in the summer. Silly boy for sure but we need him more than ever at the moment. Our right wing with Sancho gone and Antony about as useful as a johnny in a lesbians purse needs some firepower. He has impressed in Spain and the bad press and chants wouldn't last more than a month. Get him back him.

Most will shut up after he bangs a couple of goals in, highly doubt the fans in the stadium would make much of a fuss at all anyway.

He hasn't been charged with anything, we don't know the full story, he's still with the woman and now has a kid with her. Maybe society should be more forgiving of others instead of becoming a baying mob out for blood all the time.
