Is it??!! I've seen the trailer and thought it was a routine upscale but didn't realise they'd be going full remake. That will be amazing. Hopefully it'll be based on the same mechanics, full mode from start to finish.
Maybe i've misread and got ahead of myself but the master collection has all three of the original games, while "delta" is being called a full remake or 3. It would be weird to simultaneously release the third one under a separate name with just upgraded graphics. Having said that i've just looked at their website and there are some screenshots in the background which, while they look incredible, are definitely recognisable places from the original. EDIT: in everything i've seen it's very deliberately called a remake rather than remaster.
The master collection is, Delta (the remake) has no release date yet. I guess I did say they were "releasing" simultaneously, I actually meant "announced".
Oh. I must've misread Volume 1 as I thought it was including Snake Eater (Delta). Even if Metal Gear Solid was around, that's good enough for me.
I actually completely missed that they were calling it volume 1. God knows what volume 2 is going to be - I'd guess at MGS4, but what else?
MGS4 likely to be 1. I can only presume Peace Walker will be another. Then you've got Metal Gear Rising:Revengence and Survive. Think there are others made in alternate time lines.
i've played a bit of dragon's dogma: dark arisen. nowhere near as good as skyrim, but it wasn't horrible. you're kind of left in the dark about a lot of things and it can be difficult/unforgiving at times, combat-wise, as the enemies aren't leveled. walk into the wrong area and you're not leaving.
There's very few games that are attracting my interest atm. GTA VI I'd like to play, but I'm not sure that one game will be enough for me to get a new console. I'm probabky at the point now where I'm just going to get the next Nintendo console, because at least I onow their predictable lin up of games will generally all be really good.
I’ve got the problem. I’ve been playing sifu (kung fu rogue beat em up) for months now and have no idea what to play next. Nothing is really taking my fancy. i had the same problem last time when I played Sekiro probably a couple of months too long until I stumbled in to sifu. Now I’ve got a ps5 I’m tempted to give cyberpunk a go? Otherwise I’ll end up replaying games I’ve already beaten
I'm still playing the likes of Medieval II Total War which must be 15 years old by now. Games like it and Bannerlord keep my attention thanks to having such good modding communities, that keep the games fresh.
Dragons dogma 2 and rise of the Ronin both out this week. Haven’t played the first dragons dogma but the sequel sounds like my sort of game. Love samurai games (GoT, Nioh and especially Sekiro) so not sure which one to play first. I’m tempted to see how the reviews look and play demon souls next?
Been waiting almost a year for DD2 so i'm playing that first. Also got the deluxe edition. Probably going to spend 2 hours creating my character given how unique it is.
it’s likely I’ll get both but I’ll probably play rise of the ronin first, as long as it gets good reviews. DD2 seems like a game I’ll be playing for many months just like Elden ring it is strange that 2 such highly anticipated games are out on the same day?
have you played this yet? Was gonna go for rise of the Ronin but the reviews have put me off a little. Thinking about getting This instead but I never played the original game
I'd wait a little until they sort out a few patches/bugs. Some fighting sequences are bugged, and the dialogue scenes need working out. Other than that, its a very good game. Skyrim vibes. I'd also recommend getting the deluxe edition to save you the hassle of not being well equipped to start off.
