You stated your opinion that Senderos and Cole are good signings, the rest of us have pointed out our opinions that in fact Senderos and Cole are awful signings... Isn't that the whole point of a forum?
I'm not over the moon with signing those two players but with our situation we have no choice I just wish the sale of the club would be quick so we can get some top players down at Villa Park.
The only good thing Villa have done is bring Bent out of banishment (if they even do that). We need some quality defenders and a winger. Senderos is a step up from Baker and Clark but still not good enough. Please god grant Villa with new owners who are willing to spend
Wow. If anything backs up the widely held opinion that Senderos is a terrible signing then his performance last night does. Watching him against France must be giving Villa fans nightmares.
We all know Senderos is a poor footballer but he's better than Clark & Baker combined and also comes with a bit of experience which the other two lack, Cole also adds experience as does Kieran Richardson, I'd rather we were in a better position as a club and hadn't needed to sign them but due to our owner being an A class tosser the Villa are in the shit and it will take a massive gamble by a super rich new owner to make us get competitive again.
