Some 6 pointers at the bottom and a big Derby game . FRIDAY 5th APRIL Rotherham United v Plymouth Argyle SATURDAY 6TH APRIL Norwich City v Ipswich Town (12:30) Blackburn Rovers v Southampton Cardiff City v Hull City Coventry City v Leeds United Huddersfield Town v Millwall Leicester City v Birmingham City Middlesbrough v Swansea City Queens Park Rangers v Sheffield Wednesday tStoke City v West Bromwich Albion Sunderland v Bristol City Watford v Preston North End After 2 good performances and results hopefully we won’t revert back to type at home but Preston are tough and need a win . They are coming down in suits and bowler hats as happens each season in memory of fans lost , Hopefully our fussy stewards don’t spoil their day .
Free hit for us at Leicester, everyone expects us to get slaughtered, and we probably will. Last away game at a side in the top half, final two are against Rotherham & Huddersfield, they will define our destiny not results against the Leicesters of the world. 08:52 train into Leicester, I’ll enjoy the day regardless!!!
A must-win to keep any play off hopes alive. We'll know the outcome of the Anglian Derby prior to kick-off as well. If Norwich beat Ipswich I think that's over, but if they lose we need to win.
This is probably the least nervous I've been in the run up to a derby since I started going in 02. I'm fairly confident we'll win win but if we don't it's somewhat expected considering what a great season you're having and the run obviously was never going to last forever. Wonder if manager 'mind games' are happening, McKenna saying that they'll have to wait and see on Kieffer Moore and Wagner is saying that Rowe won't be ready. I'm almost certain Moore starts and Rowe is on the bench.
Really hope you’re right. He didn’t look great when he went off the other night however, also had a busy time with Wales etc.. Turns out Al-Hamadi is also carrying an injury so it’s walking wounded up top for us either way.
Lose on Saturday and we could be in the relegation zone at 10pm on Tues after playing Leicester. The Rovrum game really may have fecked us.
We play at home (sold out again, we went years without selling out and now we seem to do it every week) to Sheffield Wednesday. Should be a cracking game again. I think a point might see us safe but a win will pretty much guarantee our safety ... wouldn't haveb thought that when we let a 1 - 0 lead slip at Hillsborough and lost it. Pretty much full squad to pick from as well.
Our unbeaten Run against ipswich has to come to an end soon. We'll need to play a lot better than the last couple of games to be competitive.
Dreading tomorrow. Moore likely out, Al-Hamadi has an adductor problem so not sure how long he would last and he was playing in league 2 last season. Illness in the camp too, to further complicate things. Might shove a bet on Norwich to win, so at least if / when we lose, I can drown my sorrows haha. I am very negative all the time though, so who knows. This team has so much fight.
Stoke away..always a tricky game when we go there. Kipre back In training so back In for ajayi please. 2 draws for us in our last 2 games. 6gamds unbeaten away
Huge night for us. Some of the stories that have come out in the last few days about Foster’s treatment of the players have been astonishing. Just hope they play with the freedom and confidence that was there before the last few months.
I'm off to Huddersfield tomorrow. Not sure what to expect really, but I'm a lot less confident than I was at 3pm on Monday. Shoutout to all the train companies striking, I love an adventure.
40+mph winds forecast should make for a classic, safe trip up. Rudoni being out is a blow for us even with his low end product, set pieces no doubt be our biggest threat as usual.
I do love the neutral discourse from big 6 tv fans whenever the East Anglian derby comes around. Or people placing 'derbies' that weren't even a thing before the Sky TV era above it in power rankings because of distance.
