We are so far on top, should be 5 or 6 up by now, but settle for 2.

Waldron should have had a hat trick by the time he got the first.

 

Now for some reason the refs decided to go for a half time break by himself. Maybe he's swallowed his whistle on one of the 6,500 free kicks he's given to Barnet

 

All done, 2-0 totally dominant performance.

Says such alot about this squad of players.

Have to say their commentator really complimentary about us. (Didn't make this one).

Once again good turn out from the travelling Blues.

Collin only had one save to make. We had three cleared off the line, 1 disallowed, had the lions share of possession.

All but season over, but it means we have maintained some pressure on Aldershot and Halifax, which shows good levels of commitment as far as I am concerned.

The worst we can now finish is 9th, which under our circumstances this season is tremendous. If you'd have offered me that back in September I'd have bitten your hand off.

Roll on next season, because I am sure with an unhindered off the field season, we will be top 7.

It's been a mint season for us but very disappointing to end like this. It goes back before we secure the title too, so I'm not sure how much is 'just on the beach' or whether Cookie will have a lot to think about. We've got 21 points from our last 15 games, which is firmly mid table form. Looks worse over the last 5 or 10. Just didn't look interested today and defensive frailties on show again.

 

2nd place all but confirmed now, baring a loss and a 19 goal swing on the final day

Means we just have to win two home games to get promoted, all in our own hands

Couldn't get to Accrington today to cheer Bees on, instead was in amongst 3,500 jubilant Mansfield fans at MK. Cracking game and brilliant support. Probably my best away game....until Wembley of course !
