Christian vs. Jack Swagger vs. Finlay - ECW Title - No Holds Barred Money In the Bank: Dunno who'd be in it though... JBL, Kane, Morrisson, etc Hardy vs. Hardy - Grudge Undertaker vs. Michaels Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Fatal Fourway for the Undisputed - Cena Vs Orton Vs HHH Vs Edge (Won't happen, but it'd be cool)
No no no no no no no no NO! He should never lose it. It's what makes The Undertaker - The Undertaker. All year round he can let other guys beat him to give them a massive boost, he can battle but fail in his quest for the title and we don't care because in essence he doesn't need it. But at Wrestlemania, it is the one night where he is the true immortal, that is his thing, more than just being a deadman, more than making fireworks fall from the sky. He is the man who at Wrestlemania, is undefeatable, it keeps his "I'm the top force in wrestling" aura intact for eternity no matter how old he gets - and I think if he ever lost it I would actually go apeshit
True enough it makes him as good as he is but week in week out he gets dominated by the Great Khali and Kozlov. Total joke. Least we can expect a Superman Cena at Wrestlemania! Anyone coming down here to watch? Nothing like watching men wrestle. Note: Read www.ewrestlingnews.com (Aimed at anyone in general) if you ever need rumours and stuff. I'm more into this atm than sh1tty football. According to an old wrestling friend of mine he thought Guerrero should return at Mania; I promptly hit him
Coming from a guy who reads spoiler and industry sites on a regular basis that's quite a low showing of wrestling logic How does this sound for a storyline: Week 1 - Kozlov challenges Undertaker Week 2 - Undertaker fights and destroys Kozlov Week 3 - Same Week 4 - Same PPV - Undertaker defeats Kozlov. Very invigourating They put him in battles with guys who at least look like they could maul an angry bear - Big Show, Kane, Kozlov etc. or guys that are that far up the ladder their reputation makes it believable - HHH, Edge, Shawn Michaels etc., and then they can justify having the deadman getting taken down at times even though he is supposedly immortal. Why would they want to do this you ask? Well... story narrative, entertainment, emotion, to get these things from a fued you can't just have one guy on top. But he always wins the "big one" because when it comes to it - his powers reign supreme. Therefore, he should never lose at 'mania And don't complain at me that that was a wall of text, it's barely a few paragraphs On a totally different note (hence the gappage) - I don't suppose you could PM me streaming times for Smackdown tonight could you? Me and a mate would quite like them but because it's live we can never fecking figure out what time it's on. Been trying to figure it out for weeks now but always come into it mid-show Unless you're allowed to post wwe streams without getting into shit (I know you're not footie streams), if you are then just whack em here. Muchos appreciated p.s. slap your mate from me too
Never even realised I'd said that. Should have said Smackdown is never live so we can't figure out what time streams are on, unlike RAW which is always 2am as it is Live. I know what I meant
Sooo instead he builds up super-human strength for PPV's? Goodo. And as for the emotion and story build up, the crowd don't know whether to boo or bloody cheer Orton atm. Maybe it's the dumb yanks You have some cheek patronising me then within the space of a paragraph asking for advice (regardless of if it isn't shown live ) Meh who cares I'll try enjoy Mania without thinking too much
You'd think so but no. You only get Sky Sports streams half the time, other times it's from America or Australia or something, hence the differing times. Oh how I miss the simple days of watching my parents' Sky On the plus side though, I've been invited to a get together in York to watch Wrestlemania, ON AN ACTUAL TV, ON ACTUAL BOX OFFICE
Not as such Super Human Strength, more that at PPVs it's always the intended match, hence it's fair (no attacks from behind and such), therefore he ultimately is better than his opponent once the playing field is even. Even on show like SD he never gets beaten up/loses a match fairly hardly. And as for Orton - he's obviously a bad guy who the crowd have taken a liking to regardless. It's like Stone Cold part II so yeah basically the dumb yanks, with all due respect to any on here Hey anyway, I wasn't patronising, merely debating, you told me on MSN you liked debating, I'll stop challenging your points if you wish
I'm knackered atm and watching eastenders. I love wrestling probably a little too much I just can't get into it right now. Stories and such. I'm sure it'll improve in coming weeks. Despite RAW being great for the promos etc in my head I'm convinced the worst possible lineup An update: An advertised six-man tag match for the first SmackDown taping after WrestleMania all but confirms plans for the top three singles matches at WrestleMania 25. The official website of the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas released an updated card for the 4/7 SmackDown taping and they are advertising a six-man tag match pitting John Cena, Triple H and Jeff Hardy against Edge, Randy Orton and Matt Hardy. The six-man tag match should indicate Edge vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Triple H vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, and Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy, for the WrestleMania 25 card. In a separate note, starting with this event, the ECW tapings are being moved back to Tuesday nights with SmackDown. This is being done to make room for the WGN "Superstars" show that debuts in April and will be taped on Monday nights prior to Raw. No word yet if WWE will debut the "Superstars" taping the night before at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, but it seems highly likely. If they start taping the show the night after WrestleMania, the show would debut on Thursday, April 8. BleacherReport.com has an article up on the lengths that Vince McMahon has been going to recently to keep things from leaking onto the internet, like covering the Elimination Chamber in tarp on Sunday. The following matches are scheduled for tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown: - Michelle McCool and Maryse vs. Maria and Eve Torres - Shelton Benjamin and Chavo Guerrero vs. R-Truth and MVP - Scotty Goldman vs. Umaga - Non-Title Match: Edge © vs. Jeff Hardy
My line up maybe Christian Vs Swagger (Hornswoggle messes Swagger up ) Jericho vs A legend Hardy vs Hardy with a added twist something like that Money in the bank - Kozlov Kane Morrison Finlay JBL Mysterio Kingston Knox (That would be great) Edge vs Cena WHC HHH vs Orton WWE (For the McMahon's aswell) No Holds Barred Proberly won't happen but Shane Mac and His choice vs Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Beth Phoneix and Santino vs Melina and Goldust
They have already missed the chance to end it. If they were going to end it they should have had Edge do it at WrestleMania last year would have made him even more of a heel than he already is That sounds like the majority of The Undertakers feuds since about 2004. The Undertaker has name value but it seems a bit untouchable. Again, like most things wrestling the Undertaker was at his best as heel in the late 90s when he was a bit more santanic. Then the randomly turned him into a grumpy old ginger man "get out of my yard, respet, old school, etc etc" then they gave him back Undertaker music, leather pants but he still isnt as Undertaker as he used to be The Undertaker Not the Undertaker!! I actually find this highly offensive. Randy Orton is many things, one of the things he isnt - is anything like Stone Cold Steve Ausitn what?
Does it really? Name me one fued since 2004 where The Undertaker has dominated for 4 weeks straight and then won at the PPV, I think you'll be incredibly hard pressed unless it was a part of a bigger storyline at some point. It wouldn't work, and it doesn't happen, so that's bollocks. Sorry, but it is I do agree he was better way back when, but I don't see how him losing his 'mania streak (seeing as that's the point of what we're talking about here) would help this any further. Don't be so dense. He's like Stone Cold Steve Austin in the way that he was a heel and yet the crowds are giving him a face response at times regardless of this fact. This is what turned Austin face eventually, the crowds. I'm hardly suggesting Orton goes around drinking beers and swearing am I?
