One of the best final wins considering the team we fielded. Was fearing the worst but the kids did us absolutely proud. Get in there

The general narrative about Klopp disrespecting these domestic competitions deserved him winning it with a team full of kids. ha ha.

Klopp rightly says the ref today was not up to taking charge of this occasion. He is 100% correct. Probably get a fine and a touchline ban for it.

Congrats Liverpool and especially congrats to Jürgen for winning the first of three domestic trophies this season :D

He's already "immortal" at Liverpool, I think. Same in Germany, especially when he wins the next trophy after his Liverpool time, the World Cup 2026 with Germany ;)

Chuffed for the big man scoring the winner after having had a goal chalked off very harshly.

The decision to move the training ground and the academy closer together vindicated for sure. Long may it continue.

I refuse to believe Klopp isn't wavering on his decision after days like today.

    I can't believe he's actually said that.

"The team felt maybe penalties would be good for us"

If I'm a Chelsea fan, I would want him out. To consciously play for penalties given the circumstances and how the 90 minutes finished is insane.

    Sorry to hear that @Machida

Lol Chelsea have had a full week before this game in a season where they've had zero European distraction.

Bringing up energy levels is probably a sign the coaching is screwing the players over Poch x

Sigh, we get it, you're still pissed over us taking a few of your players years back, but get over it ffs

If you honestly dont see the difference with subs that come on, I feel for you. We brought three kids on with less than 45 minutes PL between them ffs. One of them with 10 minutes (inc injury time) FIRST team football under his belt.

First sorry for your loss machida. No words can express that sorrow.

Second I don't really any not extremely expensive buys coming on for Chelsea. To be on about age when the likes of tsimikas and endo are being accused of matching up to billions is salty at best. Quansah was at the academy from age 8? Danns from the same age. Bradley over and back until he did his schooling then signed for nothing, mcconnel for 800k from Sunderland, Clark 1.5mil from Newcastle. Even gomez signed for 3.5mil at 17 nearly 10 years ago.

Mudryk 70mil? Caicedo 115 mil? How mush was the anonymous palmer?

Chelsea chose their strategy, we chose ours. One comes with massive financial peril. One comes with trophies

He would've had two or three assists if his teammates were any good to be fair.

Put it on a plate for Gallagher who then hit the post and also put him through 1vs1 but Kelleher made a good save.

Van Dijk and Kelleher were superb but what a signing Endo is turning out to be. The best midfielder on the pitch today by a considerable distance.

Endo's ability to come out with control of the ball when under pressure is pretty impressive. What a find.

Hard to pick a MOTM in truth. Kelleher was superb. VVD and Endo both had real good games. Elliott for me was superb, never stopped running, working, lad gets better by the week.

Chelsea fans were hilariously bad. Could barely hear them, and not just because of the noise we made. Embarrassing.
