Problem with our new owners is they think this can all be done on the cheap by having a wage bill closer to Turnover (£800k)which isn’t much on our crowds it’s complete disaster. They went to Italy and purchased a step 5 side which is basically an amateur league and think they can do the same here, deluded. Only have to look at our recent permanent signings and new manager to see where we’re heading, NLS. Losing out on Todd was a big loss, he was much more involved and this lot live in California and have only really shown up for the cup games and like the last lot unless they’re really here often it will be the same but this time without the money to see us over the line. Atmosphere will be crap, we really struggle with weekday gates be lucky if 1000 home fans are at the game. We played much better Saturday and should have won but we lack any real quality at the moment, unless Dion Periera is back I don’t fancy our chances against an Ardley set up.
Tbh i doubt theres anything in it but was quite a widespread rumour last week. I doubt we will keep him at the end of his contract, never mind him taking a leap back up the leagues. Can see him ending up at tranmere tbh
Bailey Hobson was on the way to Manchester on Friday but the EFL cancelled the deal as Chesterfield recalled him early from the initial loan which made it a “short term” loan and apparently not able to have two short term loans to the same club in the same season from an EFL club. Seems a big mess up as he might not be able to play the rest of the season as Chesterfield didn’t register him in their EFL squad.
Frank Nouble not in the squad tonight having appeared fine after Saturday's game and having played all the last five. Rumour on the terrace is he was about to sign for Gateshead today but it fell through. No idea if there's any truth in it.
Thought he was anonymous on Saturday against us. Festus Arthur had him in his back pocket, and I don’t particularly rate him as a defender…
I thought Frank did ok, he isn't a goalscorer but more of a target man. In a side struggling for belief and confidence he wasn't too bad

Do you not think he’s exactly what we need up top with Jack Barham? We’ve been crying out for a big target man all season and feel like it gives us a decent option for the run-in. Let’s face it, Barham aside, our strikers are pretty dreadful
