Well you’ll be ok today, because we’re toothless also. Missed the last 3 home games,so looking forward today & actually fancy is for a decent win, based on nowt in particular.
Agree. We've not been as solid on the road this season. Last season we were very good at keeping it to 0-0 and nicking a goal in typical away fashion. We've only done that against Hartlepool this season. On the plus side, we played well vs Southend and Maidenhead and I thought we competed well vs Altrincham given the long journey to Hartlepool 3 days prior. Only the Yeovil and Woking games stand out as being 'poor' to me. Hopefully today we can get back to being a side that frustrates and then utilises the counter attack well.
"Last season we were very good at keeping it to 0-0 and nicking a goal in typical away fashion" Thats Snarll ball, It failed miserably here, Thank God.
Thats the way we've played for the last 3 seasons and we've somehow won a trophy and made the play offs doing it. It's called Milly ball in this neck of the woods though.
I think it's more people are bored watching it than nor rating him. We've built a success on a solid defense. However there's only the 4 teams in the drop zone and Hartlepool that have scored less goals than us. The man hasn't a clue what a competent centre forward looks like that's his big down fall.
Coukd be worse. You could be boring to watch and be mid-table like us. Scoring more than 1 goal is a novelty.
Is that a new rule been able to score more than 1, Mind we did 4 the other week in the 2nd half, Used our ration
Can't see anything other than a Hartlepool win today. Our away form is poor and I suspect Pools will benefit from a classic new manager bounce. Hopefully we can keep it tight like we did against Southend and try and create on the counter.
If there's any more evidence that Milly hasn't a clue when it comes to strikers is starting a striker who hasnt scored a goal yet this season. You watch he will score today now.
Best away end in the league love games like this when It can get opened. Think there's is better than Chesterfield last season but nowhere near Wrexham the year before. We turn up in these Games generally
HT - 2-0 we haven't had all the play, but the defence has looked solid and coped well with their long throws. Both goals taken well and we have had the better chances by far. Jeacock making his debut has look solid, especially in the air. Looking comfortable, but we need to press on, get the third goal and keep Tamworth chasing shadows. Much more positive though and moving in the right direction.
