I'm not saying I don't rate Kaka. I do, a hell of a lot. 3 years ago I thought he was amazing but he hasn't done anything. You could say the same about Rooney, but the difference is I know why Rooney has, because I watch him, I see who he plays with and where he plays. I don't with Kaka so as a result he is a gamble if you're talking about a player who is a fan favourite in Tevez.

You said that before, if you do Brian. You will find I wanted Berbatov a hell of a lot and didn't want Tevez.

I'm basing it on Rooney being dropped back into the hole behind the striker, not just on Berbatov himself but what affect the change in formation will have in getting the best out of a player who has been doing donkey work for the past 2 seasons.

But you dont get it do you, no matter where you play Rooney, he does donkey-work, its his downfall, he doesn't have the discipline to stick to a certain position. Berbatov is no way gonna give you more than Ronaldo did last season and I'm damn sure you wont play all four Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov and Ronadlo, because despite what everyone thinks, Ferguson most of the time, is as negative manager as what Benitez is.

How comes Liverpool didnt go in for Berbatov?

I reckon him and Robbie Keane would make a good partnership.

Because they probably didn't have enough money left to buy him.

He will but will Campbell go to Spurs? They look a bit lightweight up front, they used to have 4 quality strikers on rotation!

We could have signed Berbatov a few years back (before Spurs did) and didn't, probably a mistake as we could have had him for about £8million if I remember correctly.

But for the money he's gone for this time, I'm glad we didn't I'd rather have Torres anyday, especially considering he's four years younger.

but you're a Swindon fan. They probably had nobody to update the club website at 1am!

You would expect the worlds biggest and most supported club to come out and confirm this asap.
