others might be different, but I don't have much against rooney for moving on. What annoyed others was this "once a blue - always a blue" saga. Did coyle ever say he was going to be at burnley for a long time? Honestly - its not like he's off to Blackburn ffs.

Oh, and btw - I never recalled any St Johnstone fans calling coyle a "Judas" for moving on to Burnley.

Listen im not defending anybody who's called him that and as ive said countless times wont be doing it myself.

Not as far as i can recall but what he did say is this. He would be there until the end of the season unless the board had other ideas.

As i said though Burnley fans are not the first by a very long way to come out with remarks like that and wont be the last. I find most of the bullshit laughable tbh. Had people having a pop because i said im greatful to Coyle for getting here.

    Each to their own though..:funslap:laugh:

don't have anything against fans having issues with his departure like, the timing for a start isn't ideal with the team sliding down the table. just think some fans labeling him as "judas" is a bit over the top.

**** off Coyle, he's taken every staff member with him, even the chief scout and kit man, and he’s reportedly lining up bids to sign two of our best players this season, Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears. Our season is in ruins thanks to Judas.

Also heard that he's after two of your targets. David Nugent and Jack Wilshere.

I and about 99% of PNE fans still think Moysey is a legend and were all happy when he moved onto bigger and better things. I think Everton fans would do the same.

Theres no way Arsene will send Wilshere to Bolton.

Can't believe Steve Davis left too.. even I feel half sorry for you now.

now davis and hughes gone, shocked davis went tbh,but in a way i dont blame him he has shown his loyalty to Burnley for years and has nothing to prove there, and with coyle gone,he has thought who is most likely going to be in the epl next season, and probobly wont get to many chances to be a prem coach other than with us,so imo fair play and good luck.

but what would anger me is if Coyle comes in for bids for our best players,or goes for our transfer targets ,wilshire, nugent.
because surly he knows we would be doomed if we were to lose the likes of mears, eagles, fletcher.

but iv heard he is only getting 5m to spend at bolton this jan,in which i would be very surprised and disapointed if we was to lose one of those for that much.

Just watched Coyles interview live on sky sports, thought it was a honest enough interview. Being held back by our board in the things he wanted to do. Most Burnley fans if their honest with themselves would have known from day one we'd stand a fair chance of losing him because of a lack of investment.

Still gutted to have lost him though.

Feels like my bird just left me:laugh:

Did you also see the slip up from Gartside as to when he spoke to Coyle. On that Saturday:laugh: "that Saturday, is the one where Coyle was so keen to duck out of the interview after the fa cup game and catch his flight up to Scotland to see his family.

    good en Phil :therethere

He was never going to see his mum, and thanks to Phil it was confirmed he was up there to meet him to talk about the Bolton job (before they had made an official approach). And he didn’t even have the balls to do an interview and he sent SS after the game to do the dirty work for him.

I dont think they refer to bolton as a bigger club cos of money as such.

just the fact that they have been in EPL for years now surviving well, played in european competition, have a bigger stadium which would all add to better investment.

Burnley are doing well in their first and imo have the better players however Bolton is the place with most prospect to build a squad and be able to keep it together financially.

Megson wasted a lot of money didnt he. Zat Knight for 4m is a joke:laugh: championship standards at best for me. Elmander looked ok the odd time ive seen him play but think you paid over the odds for him. Is je injured or something. Mark Davies is that the lad from Wolves? if so Megson should have been playing him in the midfield ahead of some of the other players. Cohen is right enough for that money where did he sign him?

Lee Chung-Yong- good footballer can see Coyle using him a fair bit

    Cohen was £37,000

Anyway it's all over now, not really cricket to pinch all Burnley's staff but from their point of view they had a guaranteed job at Bolton or they could be replaced by Burnley's new manager and left on the dole... so it's not difficult to see why they've joined.

Let's crack on, see you soon Burnley...
