You know what a weak team it is when Rashford is the captain.

Only player with more than 20 caps in the starting line up too.

Got 3 players in the line up who aren't in the main squad.

White/Godfrey and JWP guess its basically an audition for them.

That is a S*it team selection..... We're gonna go into the Euros with none of Reece, Walker, Stones, Chilwell, Mount, Foden and Sterling getting a single minute of preparation ffs

To be fair isn't there data to show that teams where players have had breaks tend to do better than ones that continue on from the season.

They must be ready after a week to play some part?

Does seem a bit of a pointless game to that extent.

I presume they have doubts over Maguire/Henderson hence playing 3 of the stand by players.

You'd be disappointed to pay good money today for the game and find out it's basically a B or C team fielded despite it being the last game before the tournament starts.

But then gives others a chance to impress.

Surely a Champions League final is much better preparation than these two utterly pointless friendlies.

players from different teams need to gel..... I get the injury concerns.... but surly it’s best to get a win under your belt and go into a competition with confidence.

I think they are getting an extended break because of the Champions League?

Not the worse line-up. Sancho and Grealish are two players I expect to be big stars for England over the next 5 years. (10 for Sancho).

    That was 50/50 booing/cheering.

Tyrone Mings is going to cost us at least one goal in the Euros.

Booing 'the knee' is such a bad look.

They’re top players, they don’t need these two silly games.

They won the last game and still might win this one.

Always good when there's a sound group of players & even a decent bloke as manager of England, count on the fans to do their usual and sour it.

Isn’t the point supposedly to have warm up games against teams similar to who you will face in the tournament.

Probably becomes more of a factor for World Cups when you have different continents involved and you’re potentially playing in a different climate to what you used to.

Ultimate I expect these shit friendly makes some money too.

What really ****s me off about football in general.

Why the hell are we in blue and Romania in white?!

Whether the fans boo or not is going to be the most entertaining aspect of England matches in the upcoming Euros.

England are going to be kicking off at Wembley in a major tournament next week and they're going to have their own fans booing them before kick off. Pathetic.

Simple don’t do it. It’s well past it’s sell by date it hasn’t and won’t change anything. People are getting f*cked off being lectured too particularly I suspect from football players.

And then want players to perform so they can enjoy success....

    Unbelievably backwards.

This is not a debate about whether it's right or wrong. It's a stance taken by players who feel passionately about a subject, some of which have probably been directly affected by it in life.

It must be soul destroying trying to keep up an agenda you're passionate about and effectively get told by a group 'Shut up Blackie, get on with the football.'

Simple, don't be a **** and boo it.

Sad how a bunch of diverse young lads displaying their beliefs makes you uncomfortable.

We actually look half decent in this formation, which will make Southgate's inevitable switch to 5-2-3/3-5-2 in the tournament all the more painful.

JWP looking sharp and quick in winning the ball back.

Grealish should be playing for a Champions League club.
