Who aren't in the same league as Gealish ffs. Both dive every now and then, no one denies that, but every time that lad (Grealish) is tackled and I mean EVERY single ****ing time, he does about 16 tumbles, grasps his ankles and starts screaming whilst looking around for the referee.
Tbf Grealish got dropped a couple of times and that last one the lad deffo left his studs on his head on purpose Nobody in the modern game has a leg to stand on (,ironically), when it comes to diving its ****ing rife throughout the game and routinely excused.
Thought he was solid, made a cracking save 2nd half. Hoping the signed GK gloves he sent my youngest are creeping up in value....
No, I truly didn't. The lad gets kicked every game but doesn't dive every game...just when he does he's over dramatic. Where as Grealish gets tapped and he roles half the length of the pitch. Of course, but so does Salah, probably even more.
To be fair pal, I think everyone is slightly biased to their own club/players when it comes to diving. A lot of dives have the smallest amount of contact which results in a player tumbling like they’ve been sniped. I don’t think Salah is any better or worse than Grealish. Grealish might be slightly more frequent, but that’s cos Salah is too fast to catch I know I’m bad for it (although I quite often overcorrect myself now which pisses my mates off ) If Salah, Grealish, Zaha, Maupay & Rashford all took an identical dive I’m sure we’d be on here with you defending Salah and saying it was worse than the others, me defending Maupay, Villa fans defending Grealish etc. It’s just how football fans are.
Salahs problem is he's actually shit at diving if he just bought the foul like some other players do he'd win 20 fouls a game And yeah I agree, we're all biased with our own players of course we are, its just with Salah I feel gets far far more stick than others, despite there being "more frequent divers"...watch every minute of every Liverpool game (dont worry, I know youre never going to) and he actually stays on his feet plenty of times when others would go down. In fact I'd say Mane goes down easier and more often than Salah but is less theatrical when he does. Salah just makes his dives too obvious.
Henderson is one of very few players that have over 50 England caps and hasn't scored a goal. I can 100% understand why he took the pen last night in a meaningless friendly. Shame it didn't go in for him as well. Say what you want about him but he's been a good England servant over the years and always puts in a shift. Deserved that goal imo.
The captain shouldn’t pull rank to massage his own ego. Even if it’s a friendly it’s still an international football match not the playground
On a positive note any penalty shoot out in the tournament ,Henderson is behind Pickford in the order now.
I can fully understand why he did it. Ultimately the only thing that looks bad in the aftermath is Henderson himself. No harm done.
