Not sure if a temporary subforum will be set up as with previous competitions, but thought I’d start a big master thread for the tournament Who do you fancy to win ? Dark horses ? Or just any predictions that you’ve got going into the tournament. I personally really like the look of Italy and think they have a good chance of winning the whole thing. Chucked a bit of money on them at 12/1. Belgium to disappoint again, they’ll get to the quarter finals but there’s nothing in their squad that makes me think they’re in a better position to go on and lift the trophy Did a little predictor and I have Turkey down as reaching the quarter finals As for Portugal’s chances.. I really like our squad and think that the experience of lifting the trophy last time out and the Nations League could be really good for us. I can see us doing it again, but I’m not as confident as I was in 2016. I think our group of death will finish: France 1st, Portugal 2nd, Germany 3rd which would set up a tie with England if they win their group.. that would make for a very fun game sitting amongst all my English friends at the pub @NotsoPosh you’re one for an outright bet, placing anything pre-tournament ?
If we win our group then likely to face a real test for the last 16. One of you guys from that group of death will win overall. Sounds like ITV have basically got the Sky pundits in Neville , Keane and Souness .

If that's the case I'm not sure how they're going to work out the ticket situation considering loads of fans have just had theirs cancelled and refunded. Could be a lot of unhappy people if they put them back on sale. Would be amazing to be in a sellout crowd next month though! I did not expect that a few weeks back.
I had a ticket for the semi. Just realised it has been refunded! I don't know why they did that when the roadmap planned for restrictions to be lifted.
No mate , I had a look & prices are well too skinny , plus I'll save my wonga for losing on the g g's @ Royal Ascot , looking forward to 10 days off work binge watching football & racing eating junk food & drinking beer ! You lot in the Group of Death , come on the Magyar's , that'd be magic if they somehow qualified !
If an outsider was ever going to win this would be the tournament, none of the big boys are at their peak. I fancy Spain for this one though, despite that. Also fancy Sweden to do well. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
Stuck my bets on for a bit of fun 1) 5.7/1 Italy & Belgium to win their groups Ukraine & Portugal to qualify Slovakia not to qualify 2) 21/1 Netherlands & Ukraine dual forecast France & Portugal dual forecast Finland to finish bottom of group Slovakia to finish bottom of group 3) 4/1 Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Portugal & Poland to qualify 4) 50/1 Italy v Portugal final
I have Turkey down as semi-finalists - I fancy Ukraine to pip Holland in Group B, which would mean one of Ukraine/Poland/Turkey/Denmark will get a semi final spot on my predictor. The Turks beat the Netherlands and Norway fairly comfortably in the most recent qualifiers and they've got a decent group of attackers in Calhanoglou, Yilmaz and Yazici. I'm not a betting man but saw Can't see much more than a last 16 exit for England unfortunately, because of the way the draw pans out. If we win the group, we run into the 2nd place team in the France/Portugal/Germany group. I'd say we're better than Germany but France and Portugal are the strongest two teams in the tournament, so unless the Germans finish 2nd it'll be difficult. We're probably a quarter final standard team but won't get there because of the draw, which I suppose is the opposite of 2018, when we were a quarter final standard team again but got further because we avoided the big guns. Wales will probably finish bottom in their group, but it's much more open than some of the others so it wouldn't be a surprise if they snuck through to the last 16 in one of the best 3rd place slots. I agree with regards to Italy, their group will be a low scoring one but they have a fairly straightforward path to the quarters and I'd fancy them to beat Belgium once there. Overall I think Portugal are a good shout to retain their title, with a rematch against France in the final. I hate doing boring predictions but after such a packed schedule this season, I think the squads with the most depth will prevail
Czechs to fly from Prague for each game.. Doesn't seem like ideal preparation. Czechs in U-turn over Euro finals base
I've done a couple of goalscorer bets this morning . When England hosted in 1996 Shearer ended up top goalscorer with 5 goals & effectively this season England are as good as being at home so HARRY KANE 6/1 seemed good value as did 2016's winner ANTOINNE GRIEZEMAN each way top 4 at 22/1 albeit he's in the Group of Death & might not get past the group stages .
