17 soon, looking at some cars on Autotrader.

Thinking maybe a Clio or a Corsa? Anyone confirm these are good possible choices? Not too badly price, look good and reliable?

    Any advice appreciated. Cheers.

    I've got a 2001 Clio, 1.2 engine.

Failed its MOT last week - had to spend £120-£150 (not sure exactly..I didn't pay it!) on getting its brakes completely repaired.

Failed it the year before too, the axel bushes (?) had gone amongst other things which was a £300 repair bill.

The previous owner had no problems at all with it - I think I drive it too quick :(

    I've got a silver 06 Fiesta ghia.

My next car will hopefully be either the new Corsa or Astra.

My ex had a 99 v reg Clio that she bought brand new. It's first MOT cost her £300. She drove it sensibly. Maybe Kelly and my ex have had bad luck?
