Ok , so Ford Ka aren't exactly the best car to be seen in but with a 1.3 engine and an extremely light body they would probably be really fun to drive and quite nippy.

    :eeek

I have to admit that's an amazing price. :eeek

I had the misfortune to get one as a courtesy car once. It was quite nippy and more spacious than I expected, but it was also quite tinny and I'm not sure I'd want to drive it at 90mph.

That said, I was also given a Nissan Micra for a day, and it's the worst piece of tat I've ever been in, never mind driven, a truly horrible object. The controls for the lights and heater etc. reminded me of those toy cookers kids get as presents for their 6th birthday.

I drove a Nissan Micra when I learnt to drive. It was an old mark one and possibly the worst car I'll ever drive.

    Ugh!

The one I had was a '57 plate, so they obviously haven't improved.

When I wrote my company car off I had a 57 plate micra as well 'til my new car was ready - 10 days in total.

My opinions of it are exactly the same as yours. Absolute crap!!!

Not at all. I think the one I drove was an '89F reg. I had a mark two P reg as a courtesy car for a few days and fared no better. It looked like a shoe and was so unrefined!

To be honest they're made for the purple rinse brigade only I think!

A bloke at work had a 'T' plate Fiesta 1.25 zetec for quite a few years. Great little car, solid, a/c and electric windows too, 10x better than the Ka.

I like the look of these better than the Ibizas from 2002 onwards. Ive heard Seat are pretty reliable...

Been looking on Autotrader and the nearest one which I like the look of is 60 miles away :(

When the Focus RS comes out the ST will probably be obselete and people will want the RS over ST so ST should come down in price a fair bit I would imagine.
