Not sure where you have heard this but he won't be going there.
He isn't out out of contract so there will be a transfer fee and they're skint.
    S2 maybe but not S6,

Bit of Sarcasm there Bri, the how they would pay for him explains it.

Sorry but he can go with my blessings anywhere but there, you can have him for a swop with Dan Barlaser plus a few quid

They've already got Smith, Vaulks and Icky, that was bad enough, three of my once favourite players sullied for ever.

If he has a release clause then there wouldn't be any sort of bidding war? If 10 clubs offer the clause then they'll have their bids accepted.

Well I guess that's true but it's not outrageous to think that if a club really wants him they might be tempted to put a higher bid in than the others?

But their £1m would already be accepted. If someone really wants them, they just need to bid £1m quicker than the others.

    Shame we can't afford £1m!

From the players point of view you would think he would like to have a look at the offers and tour the clubs.
So in that respect I suppose we will get the offer that his favoured club have offered.

Of course you can afford a million, it's probably going to be over 3 years and anyway you might be getting rid of one or two players that we might be interested in.
Even Rotherham have spent a million on Sam Nombe, not that we've seen much value as of yet.

Club have to accept any offers that meet the release clause so the higher bid wouldn't make any difference. You wouldn't be allowed to prioritize a higher bid over others that break the release clause.

Expect any bidding war would be confined to Johansson's wages

If the rules don’t change and IF we get promoted, then we’ll start the season with a points deduction. Then we’ll get another for this season if we’re over again. If we are over yet again in that season and get relegated then the EFL will still be unable to punish us.
    They’ll be fooking furious :roflmao

I'd have picked Rutter over Armstrong. Slightly different positions but I think he's a more well-rounded player despite his numbers not being quite as good.

Our second or 3rd best midfielder over Morsy tbh.

Last home game against Norwich is now a sell out. It's the sixth time we've sold all tickets and we've won the previous five. If we can somehow beat Huddersfield and then beat a Norwich side that will hopefully be resting players for the play offs the we may avoid having to play Barrow next season..

No I’m not proud about it at all, I only posted it to show what a complete mess the rules are.

They written by squabbling children who want to pin down clubs having a go rather than something rationale to stabilise the game, and its starting to show.
