Yeah I agree, I said in the match thread at half time I thought he’d done well. I like he was always looking to pass forward and make something happen, not just safe passes. Very composed too for his age. Oh bloody hell I didn’t realise that was the case, I thought you’d spend with having parachute payments and sales etc. Not doing too badly though and in the play off places? Don’t score a lot though so hopefully Brewster helps there. Is he eligible for your derby game on Sunday?
You'd have thought so. Bar the top three, everyone in the division really aren't great. Doing well to be in the play-offs, but I'd expect is to run out of steam. Yeah he's eligible and I'd expect him to play, hopefully from the start.
Yeah it’s a funny division isn’t it as I mean you are not great nor are Forest for example but both occupy the play offs. I’ll be keeping an eye on your games now Brewster will be playing. I always thought you were a West Brom fan until recently. No idea why
true. it does say you need football but wont get it here, and you are right that it means the year hasn't worked out for him. In the end the gap between u23s and seniors is just too big and you almost need to jump straight past it like trent did. Jones has been kept home, not sure why as I'm confident hes not going to get minutes unless we have won the league with 5 to spare and are in cl. elliott is far too young for loans. we will see, as you say the loans are mostly people who are making us money until the day they leave.
Isaac Christie-Davies has become the latest Liverpool youngster to head out on loan, joining Cercle Brugge until the end of the season. The 22-year-old, who moved to Anfield from Chelsea in 2018, made his senior debut for the Reds in December in the 5-0 loss to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. He is yet to play in the Premier League for Liverpool and is off to Belgium to gain some much-needed first team experience.
Yeah I do he is gonna make it here. Just because you write off young players after a couple of appearances doesn’t mean we all do.
Wow I thought it was a lighthearted exchange but guess not so come on who prior to Brewster have I wrote off apart from Wilson? Which last time I checked I seem to be spot on.
True, and I hope Brewster can be the exception to the rule. I just find it alarming that he hasn't really got close to the first team this season and one start in all competitions? Big 5 months!
