I'm trying to think about who we might have loaned and then had success and I was struggling. then I went ORIGI!!!!! i don't think we've had a lot of success out of our youths going on loan though. I'm not seeing too many tbh
Brewster is brilliant. I don't know if he'll make it at Liverpool, purely because of how good you are, but he's Premier League all over. Brilliant attitude, in the Klopp style of pressing and chasing everything down and he can finish as well.
If he sticks around here he'll get a chance, been extremely unlucky with injuries, needed this loan to get a good run of games.

Rumours that Adrian could end up heading back to finish his career with Real Betis. Karius would make a decent second choice keeper, but I doubt he'd go for it.
No, wouldn't. He f**king terrible and I don't want him pulling a Liverpool shirt on ever again. There is a reason Besiktas don't want him. Can you imagine if he'd been the back up instead of Adrian when Alisson was out for the first quarter of the season? I shudder just thinking about it.
When he first arrived i though he was excellent, it was only in the later stages of his Liverpool career that he became really dodgy, surely working with allison would help him with his calamity issues, he was voted best in bundesliga wasnt he? There is a star in there somewhere lol
I never expected Besiktas to sign him tbh. The move reminded me of the loan moves that would get sanctioned to Italian clubs. They'd have the option to sign but you knew they'd never take it. These clubs will happily take a player for a bit and avoid paying transfer fees. Besiktas still played him as their number one over two seasons. He still had a number of decent games for Liverpool and as such he would make a good number two. Training alongside Alisson would be a step up for him too. I'd prefer Adrian to stay, and I'd maybe prefer it if the club took Reina back for a season or two as he heads towards retirement. But if the circumstances dictate that Adrian moves on and Karius is willing to be second choice then I'd be content.
I’d be more than happy for Karius to be number 2 he’s still very young for a GK and working with Alisson every week would only improve him.
Looks like I'm on my own with this one, which given how completely an utterly awful he was when Klopp finally managed to get over his stubborness and accept he'd signed a wrong 'un, surprises me. Let's just hope if it happens Alisson never gets injured. Fortunately, Karius' deal finishes in May next year, and it surely won't be extended. I'd sooner we let him go for a nomimnal fee and keep Adrian. He's proven to be a proper backup keeper and will have rightly earnt his Premier League winners medal this season.
Karius had 16 clean sheets in 33 games in 2017/18. 10 clean sheets in 19 league games. @Pagnell The idea he was awful that season is just plain wrong. Shouldn't let the horror show in Kiev cloud judgement, he was first choice for a team that finished 4th and made the Champions League final. The club saw an opportunity to upgrade on him and they took it.
Yes, you're right. That's it. My entire opinion on Karius is based upon a single abortion of a game in a European final and a clean sheets stat that primarily started in the second half of a season after Van Dijk arrived rather than observing the complete lack of authority he has of the area, the distribution skills of a 12 year old and him shitting himself whenever the ball came near him over a prolonged period.
He would be a great number two in normal circumstances, but after his mistakes (concussion) in his last real game for us the pressure and spotlight on him is just too great and both he and the club can do without it. I imagine he will go on loan again and I think his contract will expire at the end of the season.
He's good enough for a number 2. Especially if Adrian want's to move on. It's not like he was disastrous for us, apart from 1 game. He's a decent keeper.
Since your opinion is that the keeper isn't even good enough to be number two, then yes I think you are judging him off the Kiev final. Everything else you've said is pure exaggeration.
I've made it clear I'm judging him off watching him and what he brings to the keeper position over a prolonged period rather than a single game. Did you miss that bit? Go back and read my posts if you like, I'd been calling for him to be gotten rid of long before that game. And it isn't. His distribution is shocking. And he has no authority of his area. Two pretty important aspects of being a keeper, even a backup. Especially of a club like Liverpool.
