Club will almost certainly be more open to a sale now than they were last Summer. It wouldn't shock me if it happens tbh, last year of contract and club better off focusing on renewing VVD and TAA.

It means more, if I was them I'd take it and carry on the rebuild, they've bought in some younger midfielders to go with current squad, not sure how much longer VD and Salah got at top level, think we may have one more season at top level of KDB

What can you do? Refuse to take it and then just have an unhappy footballer on your books until they eventually leave for nothing. The pond has been well and truly poisoned already.

Doubt Salah goes there but who knows. I’d keep him obviously but an insane bid would be tempting at this point in his career.

Be a shame. Feel like both Salah and KDB have a lot more to give in Europe.

I doubt De Bruyne will go, just doesn't seem the type of player interested in going there.

End of the day the main reason for Salah staying would be Klopp. But Klopp won't be here. It is known that Michael Edwards was opposed to renewing Jordan Henderson's contract.

I'd be shocked if Edwards was interested in renewing Salah (32 in June) and VVD (33 in July) at the same time. Both of whom are already the highest paid players at the club.

If Salah doesn't fancy Saudi right now, then let him see his deal out. I think between him and van Dijk I'd be looking to keep hold of van Dijk. Unless the club decides they'll try keep both, which is cool too. I just don't see it.

you can see CURRENTLY that vvd is at a certain level of performance. While its not a 28 year old vvd is not that far off in terms of ability.

CURRENTLY salah is struggling getitng back to his fit level but overall he is nowhere near the elvels he was at a couple years ago and his raw pace is gone. he is not slow yet but he is no longer fast either.

Any club what has massive wages and a set revenue is actually has to trade within (unlike others) cannot ignore a massive 100mil offer for a 32 year old player irrepective of how many goals and assists that player has got in the past.

Can any "sustainable" club turn down 100mil for a player who would be out of contract in 12 months even if that player is likley to deliver about 20 goals. Thats the decision that faces us.

So yes of course try our lvel best get another 2 years out of vvd, maybe even 3 from what we can see now but salah? If he renewed for another 12 months and went for 50 after a year scoring 20 for us thats really cool. if he goes this summer for 100+ thats cool too.

Hope he stays, not sure if he'd want a lesser role at City also may go year after if Pep goes at end of contract.

He is struggling a little with his stimana and fitness imo. he's not the same player he was in terms of drive but Gauriola is managing him well.

After a lay off like that its inevitable but really its more about who else is good enough to push him out of your line up more than him being given a lesser role already for me at least.

Silva will be 30 and KDB 33 next season. Grealish will be 29!

Doku, foden and alvarez are The young men in that attack with haaland going to be 24

I think it depends who you would sign i suppose.

Still got 4 goals and 14 assists in 16 games so alot to replace, to get them stats after a 5 month lay off is ridiculous

yes absolutely. And has done that since his return while still not looking the same player (quite) and having a really shocking hair style of course!

I can see foden and alvarez play but grelaish no and doku not yet. KDB would certinly start big games next year as he recoveres that staimina with games.

esp wither a 3241 stype of style. In that 4 theres room for foden, alvarez, rodri and KDB behind haaland esp if silva plays for alvarez.

Grealish is so integral to way we play, we are a worst team without him. Think we may finally lose Silva this year but unless them tramps Barca find some money I'm not sure where else he goes

By definition the money will look clean after it's been laundered. How were we meant to know where you magiced up the money for the caicedo offer from ;)

After what's happened with a few players leaving Saudi recently and the reasons for them leaving (joke attendances and tinpot football etc.) I really can't see someone as professional and ambitious as Mo wanting to go there. And like with Mbappe, it doesn't matter what they offer, if he doesn't want to go it won't happen.

I wouldn't rule out a move in the next couple of windows as his age increases, but I don't think it will be to Saudi. Of course that could be bullshit and the wages on offer will be too much to turn down for him. Would be a shame to see a player of his quality wasting his talents there though.
