Just thought I would post some pics from my trip to NY, Watkins Glen, Niagara Falls and Toronto as I was rather bored today now I'm back;
Maybe a few too many photo's Only just realised how many I pasted, had a great time though.. Album's with shitloads of photo's here; USA - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=217583&id=528132999 Canada - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=217588&id=528132999 (Facebook was pissing me off and uploading some photo's up to 3 times )
No but it was tested believe me Was placed over the side of the Empire State Building to take a photo. Went on the Maid In the Mist and got soaked, and I mean SOAKED. Placed through the side of a glass window of the top of the Rockafella Centre, NY. Took photo's off the sides of a little walkway on the rivers. Walked through the rivers with it in my hand, stepping on extremely slippery rocks. But it survived, now ill end up f*cking it up in my bedroom
And a few too many apostrophes. Good photos though. Bet people on that boat at Niagra Falls got SOAKED!
Was thinking the same, I even took an apostrophe out of "shitload's" Yeah, its the Maid in the Mist (as seen in Bruce Almighty), I went on it but attempted to make a video instead of photo's but it ended up more like I had placed the camera facing up into a running tap so didn't come out too good. That's if the SOAKED didn't refer to the poor grammar I used when trying to emphasise the word soaked..
Got a Canon 500D. Still trying to get used to all the different buttons and options etc. Night time photo's are the hardest because you have to keep the camera so still when taking it otherwise you get blurs with the lights. Thanks Mick, Phil and Brian
Yeah I'll probably get a tripod soon, but it wasn't really something I wanted to take round with me on my holiday. I really like the Canon tbh, so far anyway. Takes a very good photo and I find it comfortable in my hands. So far, I'm finding it really practical and easy to use. But as I said, I haven't had it for long, and haven't owned any other SLR's or DSLR's to compare it to.
Yeah he was being sarcastic Cost me £605, bag, 18-55mm lens and I got £30 cashback in a deal by Canon which ended 31st May included.
