Yeah Ill try and put something in Wednesday or Thursday, got my best mate's 18th tomorrow so I don't think Ill be able to get round to it tomorrow, maybe tonight Ill have a go.
WOW, amazing shots Speakers, you've got a really got a great eye for it! I sometimes wish I had a better camera on my travels, especially for when I was in Africa, but I'd never have been able to take good care of it for the length of time that I was away. Really impressed though mate, top photos
I would love to mate, something like travel photography would be amazing.. but I really can't see myself getting into the position to be able to get a job like that. I really don't want to go to Uni and unless some sort of miracle happened, I doubt I would be able to get such a job without a degree. Cheers Matt, tbh I don't know how my camera survived.. I was rather wreck less with it but amazingly it didn't come back with any knocks or water damage.
What settings did you use for the shots from the Rockafella? Couldn't get the night time shots right with my 450D last year Also it's well worth getting the 50mm 1.8 lens, it's only £90 but gives you great pictures.
To be honest mate, I'm not the best with the settings etc with Photography at the moment and it's something I really need to improve upon. So far, I believe its on F5.6, ISO1600, 0 Exposure, AI Servo with 15M (highest quality I have) Thanks Skip, I have one more photo I need to upload later that I found in a Canadian supermarket
I'm in the same boat, which is why I was asking! It tends to take me at least 2-3 attempts before I get the settings right in manual mode. With that night shot i just couldn't quite get it right, the wife getting impatient whilst i'm was messing around with the camera settings didn't help Love the waterfall shots, going to have to give that a go at some point. Did you use the tv mode?
Those waterfall pics are excellent. They're very easy to screw up, you get a slight breath of wind with a long exposure and any trees/bushes in shot turn into a blur.
Those photos are amazing. Some literally dropped my jaw in awe. Argh, I wish I was as lucky as you and could go around the world and take pictures like that. Oh well, time's on my side. Hope you continue to have such great experiences at such awesome places mate. And don't forget to continue to take plenty of snapshots for us.
Cheers Riggy. I'll try over time as I take them. Thanks Zak, although nothing should stop you taking photo's near where you live.. sometime's those are the one's you end up liking most. Cheers again.
