Mike, I love you man, your photos are amazing etceteraaah... but please, please, please(!!!) learn to use apostrophes correctly.
Some cracking photos there. I really want to get a good camera and start taking some myself. No idea what camera to go for though. Then there's the lens sets and stuff which just confuse me!
Ahh but the difference is Chris, I wasn't abused by the things I took photo's of, unlike yourself and the monkey.
Just wondering if one of the Mod's are able to merge this thread with my other one, just thought it would clean up the Photography forum.
Amazing photos. I know what you mean about having to wait for ages when taking night shots. I went last year to Vancouver, Whistler, Toronto and Niagara Falls. I went up to one of those revolving bars at the top of a skyscraper in Vancouver, and was taking the photos while it was resting on the window sill. By the time the photo was completely processed the bar had revolved halfway round to the next table! BTW next time you're in Canada I recommend Vancouver. Got that cultural feel about it, one of those cities with skyscrapers spreading for miles but along tree-lined streets. You can get on the Whistler Mountaineer, one of the Rocky Mountaineer trains to take you on a short journey to the heart of the Rocky Mountains. But in Vancouver itself is Stanley Park, Vancouver's equivalent to Central Park but bigger and a forest. The easiest way to see wild bald eagles and get up close to loads of raccoons. Isn't Niagara Falls spoilt by the ugly concrete hotels? I love the ones, especially yours, where the Maid of the Mist is sailing into the unseeable.
Thanks, those photos of Vancouver look exactly like the sort of place I like visiting along with Whistler. But yeah, Niagara Falls is ruined a lot by all the hotels etc around it.. it almost takes away from the intensity of the Falls and it's all casino's restaurants etc. now which is a real shame. It falling off a ledge or something similar.. what did you have in mind?
How the **** can you afford trips like that at 18!? Surely your parents don't take you on these sorts of holidays at that age!? Amazing photo's, I'd kill to go on that Niagara boat, and that is some serious zoom on that butterfly!
Went with my parents and younger brother, it involved a lot of travelling by car, we didn't spend that long at each place, and it was kind of an idea we had and turned out cheaper than we thought it would be.
Part 2 - Lisbon Hola. Dusted off my camera for a 4 day trip to Lisbon and managed to get a few alright photos;
