Final day and the singles are out. 8-8 as the opening score and Europe have started strong.
Hope very much the Americans don’t break their losing streak
Then next weekend the Ryder Cup and hopefully a second spanking for the USA

Said in the golf thread but I’m glad Bryson isn’t playing in this Ryder cup. Actually watched some of his liv events and he’s playing some of the best golf I’ve seen since peak Tiger and that’s honest to god.

Sounds like he didn't even get a phone call to tell him he wasn't in the team, so I'm guessing he's burnt some bridges with his move?

Looking forward to this. The Solheim Cup was great and is always close, hoping for the same here. Feels like a big opportunity for us to redeem ourselves this time and prove we're going to be the real deal at Bethpage too.

    I fancy us here.

    Viktor Hovland is going undefeated.

Yeah he’s in great form atm. I think we will win tbh. Wasn’t confident when the teams were announced.

He's hit a hole in one on the 5th during practice today... which is a par 4

Which means he won't hit one again on the law of averages. Holes in one are all luck. Still means he's hitting straight which is good

    What a start this is.

    Hovland and Ludvig were superb.
