Would have loved to see Rahm's teeshot at the 17th drop in for a hole-in-one, but good enough anyway.

9.5 - 2.5, no way back for the Yanks now.

Kind of summed up the Americans with those 2 last putts.

    Woeful.

Great shots when it matters by our guys.

5 point lead going into last day, 4 points to win. I think we would have taken that if offered before the match.

Shame we couldn't get something from that last game. Each American player will fancy themselves in 1 on 1 match play. If they can pull off a comeback it will be one hell of a effort.

Hopefully will be over fairly smoothly but can see the Americans winning most of the singles if they turn up .

Just seen the most pointless stat on Sky Sports. On hole 9 it said "The team that drives further, wins the hole 50% of the time"

Yanks prepared arrogantly for this Ryder cup, thought they just had to turn up. half of their team at least are petulant pouting tossers.
    Take that:dance:

That was quality. I was worried it would be a boring day but fair play to the USA, they put up a decent fight. At one point I was worried we might not even win it

USA team as a whole seemed to struggle a lot over the last few holes though.

As for their prep and team dynamic. I really don’t care. It’s their problem. All I care about is team Europe and every time we turn up and we seem to have a great team spirit and a top bunch of guys.

Ps I think I have a bromance with Viktor Hovland.

Americans are full of egos can't work as a team that was the difference I think.

I agree. Which is why they always fair better in singles. That and the fact that 9 of them didn’t play a comp for 5 weeks before

Yeah the one vs one definitely suited them as they could play their own games.

Have to say I thought Sky's coverage was abysmal. Why we needed full screen interviews of half the team when there was still play going on. Bob MacDonald went from all square to 2 up and we didn't see a shot for about 10 minutes.

Yeah. Some of it was dreadful. Interviews at the end of rounds taking too long as well. One match swung two shots during them.

That was a ****ing magnificent weekend.

Hovland, Rahm, Rory stepped up beautifully, with lovely cameos from everyone but notably Tyrell, Tommy, Bob and Rose.

Give Donald the job again for 2025 imo. Can’t wait for Bethpage already.

    I ****ing love him

Also love having Ollie in the setup. Clearly helped Rahm a lot and his presence alone is a massive boon.

Our VC’s have been superb, whereas the Yanks have seemingly had the same group of captains and VC’s since 2010
