I’d never get a black car, far too common and dull.

    Unlike this beauty:

It appears to be purple. Or plum.

    Horrendous colour mate.

Nice wheels though. Might look into getting mine done.

I love the colour, as do most. Maybe the picture doesn’t do it much justice. Beats your blacks and silvers anyway, so f*ckin dull.

Each to their own though mate. It's a nice car anyway.

I love BMWs, but not that colour.
From the owner of a dull black car :)

Silver is the new red tbh, vulgar colour and far too common. Hides scratches and dust well though.

Just got myself a 12 plate polo. May not seem like much but after living with my shit 54 plate Peugeot 307 for the past 5 years, it felt like heaven to drive!

    Could do with advice.

My budget is 4K and we want a car that’d last for a while, like 5 years and decent on petrol. My wife is happy with a city car but I ain’t. I want a decent car that’s fast enough, I’ve got a type R but I’m ready to move on and get a sensible car.

But to go to a polo from type R would be too much of a degrade imo. Has anyone got suggestions?

With a £4K budget looking for a car that’s only 5 years old, you’ll be settling for a Polo and you shall be grateful.

Yeah, the best ones I could find in that budget is Swift Sport and Renault Sport 200.

Swift is 11 reg, Clio 08 reg. 2008 is probably abit too old for me, as it’s only 3 years younger than my type R.

But swifts aren’t that great. :(
