Actually thought Son was generally poor vs City, some limp attemtpts to beat his man etc... but he popped up with a deflected goal & all is forgiven I suppose, that's his job, especially with Harry out.

Very mild deflection. I think he and the whole team will improve.

Signed Doherty from Wolves. Very good signing. Gets goals as well.

Pretty positive about our signings so far tbh. Solid, targeted transfers rather than the scatter gun approach we saw with the Bale money.

Yeah, I feel the same. It doesn't have to be about bringing big names in, we just need people who can improve on what we currently have and address our weaker areas. Central midfield and full backs have been a problem for a while now.

Yeah, I remember the number of signings made with the Bale transfer. So unbalanced.

    Surprised Wolves let him go.

Doherty potentially a great signing... Seems like a bizarre move from Wolves.

£15m seems a great deal for Spurs..!

Believe it when I see it. 4,000th time Bale has returned to Spurs.

If he took a paycut it'd already be done. The lad is more than happy sitting on his backside / playing golf.

It's never been as advanced as now, far more concrete talks this time around.

We've not left it until the last minute which is interesting, unlike the Dybala deal that had various reports of fee's agreed, salary agreed but being held up by image rights.

Just hope it's not another Real Madrid or Bale's team using us to get interest from other parties and bumping up prices etc.

Just signed Rodon. Officially 9/10 transfer window for me. I'd still say we are light in CDM/CB with injuries, for example no Hojbjerg replacement and improvement on Dier, but we do have many players who could hypothetically cover all positions for the full season assuming Mourinho can manage. Our attack and midfield has strength in depth. The rest of our squad just has a lot of cover and depth but the hope is Jose can shape the defence.

It's the best window we've had in as long as I can remember. Plus N'Dombele has started the season well so that feels like a new signing in some ways.

Feeling very positive about Spurs at the moment so fully expecting a West Ham win tomorrow to bring us back down to Earth

Double figures for Vinicius for the season. 10 in 21 appearances, a good few of those nothing more than cameos off the bench in the latter stages of a game.

    I think it's 9 in 9 starts - although that includes a hat-trick against Marine.

Not sure he's got a future here but he's quietly done his business and been dependable enough to give Kane a rest this season who has been available for most of the league campaign.

For the right fee I'd have Vinicius back here next season.

Bale: "I know what I'm doing but it'll just cause chaos if I say anything now."

Source: What now for Kane and Bale at Spurs?

Reckon he's had an offer from another Premier League team to go on loan for next season? Him staying at Spurs won't cause chaos.

So, cheap young talent, get another year on loan at Metz.
Can't say I've seen him play but from the limited youtube highlights he looks like a real prospect and complete midfielder.

Know nothing about him but let's hope he lives up to his reputation. Another year on loan won't do any harm :)

Gollini has returned to Atalanta, Forster must be super close to being announced.
