What I don't understand about that is Swansea? According to the table itself, they supposedly had 58.9% possession against Liverpool (seeing as though we only had 41.1%), 58.5% against Arsenal, 57.6% against Southampton, 53.7% against Man United and 52.4% against Spurs...yet they aren't on the table themselves? They must have had piss poor possession in the other 5 games they played then?
Ah, I thought the top 8 meant the "top/best 8 possession stats" if you get my drift. I'd like to see these stats for 1st half/2nd half though, we'd probably be something like 70% for the first half, 30% second half, lol...puzzles me why we seem to drop off the pace in the second half.
Yeah I could have made that clearer in the title. It's just a throw away stat that doesn't mean anything really, especially over ten games. Just interesting to see things like every top side losing out in the possession stats to Swansea but still getting a result whilst City record the season's high and lose
OptaJoe @OptaJoe 1h 3 - In terms of points per goal, the top three in the PL this season are Spurs (2.22), Hull (1.75) & Southampton (1.73). Efficient.
That goal difference is impressive, still need to start turning draws into wins though, Didn't realize how imperius Everton have been with regards to losses (allbeit you were gifted two draws in the derbies at Goodison because the referee's were ****ing bottlers).
@OptaJoe: Marouane Chamakh has scored three goals from just four shots on target in the Premier League this season. Return.
A couple courtesy of Opta: - Manchester United were the only Premier League side to make fewer than 100 passes in the attacking third this weekend (93) - Chelsea have already conceded more goals this season (17) than they did in the whole of Jose Mourinho's debut season in 2004-05 (15).
Be interesting to see this one updated. En iyi bahis siteleri değerlendirme sonuçları için: www.bedavabahisin.com
