He’s been out ‘injured’ all January. Supposedly an injury picked up innocuously at home. This suggests it’s been in the pipeline for a while.
Apologies, missed this. Waterfall has lost a yard in the last half a year to year or so, so just isn't really up to regular League 2 football. He could still do a job coming off our bench, but I think the risk of injury to a CB and having to play him every week plus his desire to want to play pushed that move through. Khan, in my opinion, is definitely worth a place on our bench but it just hasn't quite worked out. We've also got a new manager in so there's bound to be a bit outgoings as the squad was already fairly big so incomings without outgoings aren't really an option.
Jack Jenkins who's been on loan at Scunthorpe earlier in the year is the latest rumour for the midfielder. This doesn't fit though because that would be a loan and the midfielder we are signing Is a permanent one.

There's a rumour going around that Alex Hunt is going to Carlisle, which if true, would be the second CM in the window leaving us after we sold Conteh to Bristol Rovers. Those two and Khouri are/were our most technically adept ones too. I'd imagine if Khouri happens, it'll happen late (in terms of the EFL window), as we won't want to.l be left short in that department. Both Hunt and Khouri rumours could of course be nonsense!

Can't see it personally, woodyard is key for us. Cordner is not worth 100k, great on the ball and can ping a pass but not the best at defending, he was dropped about 10 games ago and we've stopped leaking goals
Yeah, would be a bit of a rogue one but a great signing if we make it happen. Interesting re Cordner. He absolutely carried us at times last season, but ultimately is quite a limited CB and a reason he’s never pushed on into the Football League.
Since Ardley has come in everything is kept quiet and no rumours leaked.(not like ex manager).Woodyard is one of top earners here so very much doubt you could tempt him. Batty is back in next week or so and not convinced they can play together though. Woodyard has stepped up massively since he got injured,good job really because everyone else in midfield is terrible.
I used to watch him play for Arsenal reserves at Underhill in the mid-2000s. As a 16/17 year old he looked like he was going to go on to be an elite level player. Just never pushed on from there.
