Ha! Bingo caller was the other joke going round. Duku was who I had heard, we just need bodies to try and rotate the squad.
It got said at our fans forum with the manager and chairman that Barrett would be moving on, his agent has said. Big blow. Superb young right back for whoever signs him. Be amazed if he doesn’t end up in the football league. Could easily play for a much better team than us
I see Joe Rowley hasn't been getting anywhere near it this season. Is it injuries or has his career just stalled again.
Bit of both tbh. Was excellent last season but I think Ustabashi is a better player. Think injuries have hampered Rowley though
I always liked Joe Rowley, I was just waiting for him to grow into a bloke but it just kind of never seemed to happen, Jack Lester blamed him for us getting relegated at Forest Green, he was always injured and that was kind of it.
Not sure that'd be a great move. He's done alright at BW but we could do without another injury riddled player. I'd go for that Blackett if we had any sense but not totally against keeping Umerah if he wants another year. It's pace all over the side I'd be prioritising
Kabongoals is finished, Chesterfield got the best out of him, hasn’t been the same since he broke his leg. Blackett needs to be our number one target for me.
We used to run a rest-home for crocks and has-beens .Not so bad, now; actually, wouldn’t be against giving Kabogoals a go, especially if/ when we lose Tolaj.
If you can get Tshimanga fit, firing and interested, there isn’t a better striker in the division imho.
I think Dipo Akinyemi must be up there, 15 goals in a crap defensive side this year with no pre season behind him
Kabs isn't injury prone. He had his leg snapped into dust by a shit defender. Since then I don't think he's been injured. He's just not the same player he was. He's slower, and not as strong.
Gav Holohan leaving us, would be a good signing for anyone at this level. Good enough for the first team of a promotion chasing side in this division. L2 is just a bit beyond him now, especially as we're changing style of play.
